THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Victor Rodenmaar and Sweetie were probably at the top of River's 'vengeance' list. The two men made every Anubis resident stand in the corridor, with the girls on one side and the boys on the other. The students stood before their opened lockers which had been searched through by Victor and Mr. Sweet, while their opened bags laid on the floor. River stood between Patricia and Amber, an annoyed frown on her face. A part of her was worried about whether Victor would find out Amber had his beloved bracelet, but she was mostly tired of the man's dramatics.

"I am missing a parcel," Victor began as he walked in the open aisle between the girls and boys. "It was addressed to me and delivered to Anubis House."

"We don't know where your precious delivery is," an annoyed Joy remarked as Victor made his way back to Mr. Sweet's side.

"Then we shall have something of a wait."

"Cool!" An excited gasp came from Willow Jenks. River would've seen her behavior as normal. However, she grew quite confused when she took a double-take at the redhead and wondered why she was standing with the Anubis residents. She wanted to be a part of the clan. "Oh, I love hanging with these guys!"

An epiphany hit Mr. Sweet as he pointed to Willow with a perplexed frown. "But you are not a resident of Anubis House."

"I know." Willow chuckled, seeing her actions as innocent. "I just love the whole Anubis vibe. We never have fun stuff like this at our house."

"If by fun stuff," River leaned toward Patricia and whispered to the goth pixie, "she means almost getting killed then woohoo."

Patricia chuckled in amusement. However, the two ex-roomies were brought back to the matter before them when Victor responded to Willow, "Out."

Willow tilted her head. "Our odd-job man isn't funny like you."

"Get out! I am not an odd-job man!" Victor yelled, clearly furious at Willow's remark as he stepped toward the girl. Willow quickly took that as her cue to grab her bags and scurry off while Victor remained angry. However, the residents of Anubis House found a lot of amusement in Willow's comment and tried their best to keep their laughs in. "I am a domestic maintenance manager."

"That's supposed to be better?" River questioned aloud with a giggle, earning chuckles from her housemates. However, the minute Victor turned around with a scowl on his face, the eleven teenagers zipped their lips.

Victor resumed walking between the students, his footsteps occupying the silence. Though they were soon joined by a phone ringing. River furrowed at the ringtone, sharing a perplexed look with her blonde roommate. It sounded a lot like Amber's ringtone, but what confused the duo was the fact that it was coming from Alfie.
