THIRD PERSON'S POV.

The Anubis House girls (bar Joy Mercer) alongside Willow stood by their lockers as they chatted and giggled about whatever they were talking about. However, catching their attention as well as the rest of the students in the corridor was the door of it opening, and out stepped Jerome Clarke.

"Excuse me! Excuse me, everyone! Can I have your attention please?" Jerome spoke. "Now, I know I've been slow off the market somewhat in the business competition."

"That's an understatement," Mara remarked.

"But I can today announce that I'm firmly back in the running—"

"You were never out of the running. It's also a school project that's for marks, remember?" River reminded him.

"Did I ask for your comments?" Jerome directed the question to his female best friend was about to say something back, but he quickly cut her off. "No. Now, I give you Alfido and his amazing hotdogs!"

Jerome gestured to the doors of the corridor and stepping out of them and onto the corridor was Alfie Lewis, dressed in a hotdog costume with a frown upon his face, a hotdog in one hand and a boom box in his other hand. River's jaw dropped, amusement taking over her as she shared chuckles with her friends as well as other students.

"Alfido," Alfie unenthusiastically said, "A.K.A Hot Doggy Dog."

"Really?" Mara challenged her boyfriend. "Is that the best you can do?"

"Some toppings," Jerome went on, "some sauce — it's a no brainer."

"Oh, that's how he came up with this idea," River quipped, glancing at her friends. "With no brains."

The Anubis girls and Willow shared another round of laughs. Jerome ignored the remark and instead began pet calling Alfie as they walked down the corridor. "Come on, Alfido. Walkies."

"I'm so sure this thing's got fleas!" Complained Alfie as he and Jerome passed the girls, leaving them in pure amusement.

The girls soon left each other and parted different ways. River headed to the student lounge/drama room with Amber, the two finding Patricia, Eddie, and Fabian who sat on the couch, working on something on his notepad. As Amber went to sit in the chair and River went over to sit next to Fabian on the couch, River couldn't help but overhear the conversation Patricia and Eddie were having.

"Come on, you must've known," Patricia told Eddie. About what? River had yet to know. "Didn't Fabian tell you?"

"Tell who what?" Fabian asked, dropping his notepad and turning to face Patricia and Eddie. River and Amber mimicked his movements, both curious as to what this was about.
