and as she sat there
with tear-stained cheeks,
she realized
he never cared,
his face never lit up
when he saw her
he never laughed
at her stupid jokes
it was all fake
the hugs,
the kisses,
the I love you's
he lied to her
she loved him
like there was no tomorrow,
and he used her
so she doesn't love
anymore
