and as she sat there,
her eyes lit up.
he smiled at her
in that way
that made her cheeks heat up.
she held her head down,
unable to keep the smile from her face.

[ hey guys! sorry for being gone so long! i've been crazy busy for the past (year?) but i think i'm finally starting to get everything together so hopefully that means more poems being written (and posted) as well as updates on my current books, bringing back old ones, and a new book soon to be published. have a great day/night!
