The girl standing in front of me is looking between both Dominic and I with her arms crossed over her chest. Her hair looks to be naturally curly and stops just below her shoulders. She has honey colored eyes and flawless skin.

I then notice that Dominics friend - whose name I still don't know - is standing beside her. Looking at the both of them, I find a couple of similarities between them. I'm guessing they're related? Probably siblings or something.

"Are you going to tell me who the hell you are?" She asks in annoyance, her attention fully on me as she tilts her head slightly to the side.

My eyebrow lifts at the tone that she's using with me and I look around before looking back at her, "You must've meant to say that to someone else because I know you aren't speaking to me that way."

She scoffs and takes a step forward, "Actual-"

"I don't think we formally met yet." The boy standing beside her holds his arm out to stop her in her tracks. "My name is Hunter and this is my sister, Mia. Don't mind her rudeness. She's very... protective of her friends."

I give him a simple nod and remove Dominics hands which were resting on my waist before turning to look at him, "Well, it looks like you're going to have a busy night. I almost feel sorry for you."

A smirk plays on his lips as I turn around and give Mia an emotionless look, "Maya."

"It's, Mia!" She shouts after me in anger as I walk away, not sparing them another glance.

As the time passes by, I find myself getting even more bored than what I was when I arrived at this party. Everywhere I look is just people making out, vomiting or crashed out on the floor. I roll my eyes and go to serve myself another drink.

I don't understand how a lot of people get so easily drunk on their first or second drink. It takes a lot to get me drunk the way everyone else is here. Sure, I feel a little relaxed but I'm nowhere near drunk enough that the alcohol would make me do something dumb... like that girl on the table humping a pillow in her bra and underwear.

While I'm drinking by myself somewhere less crowded, I feel someone grab onto my elbow. After I turn around, a smile immediately appears on my face at Sebastians presence.

"You look like you're having fun." He says teasingly before placing a kiss on my cheek.

With an annoyed groan, I tell him, "I probably would've been if you had shown up sooner."

"I'm sorry, flower. Your dad wanted me to help the men with a job but they ended up canceling." He tells me while rubbing the back of his neck.

I narrow my eyes at him suspiciously, "They canceled the job?"

"Yeah." He says with a shrug of his shoulder as his fingers tap his left leg.

One thing I know about Sebastian that not even he knows is when he lies, his fingers always tap against his leg. He never noticed it and I never told him for obvious reasons, but I'd still be able to tell that he was lying to me right now.

Why? Well, because my dad never cancels a job. It doesn't matter what the job is or what the reason is. He's never canceled before and I doubt he'd start now.
