Chapter 14

Lily woke up and saw that it was still dark outside, without realizing it, they both fell asleep after hours of talking, she looked at the clock and it was 3 o'clock in the morning.

Seriously she would be in lots of trouble if she went out in the corridors and one of the teachers discovered her, the same as if in the morning they found her there in the hospital, even worse that day was the Slytherin party and she was not going to give herself the luxury of being in punishment.

Thinking and thinking about a solution Harry's invisibility cloak came to her mind, but for that she had to tell him but she came back to the same thing.

—"Missus"— she could use Missus to send him the message and go for her.

Lily stood outside the window and made a faint whistling sound that sounded like a bird, that was the way she called him, she waited and in a matter of minutes she saw Missus fly to her direction and landed on the edge of the window

—"Good boy"— Lily whispered to him as she gave him caresses, quickly she fetched pen and pencil.

She put the letter in his beak and departed.

From the boys' room Harry was thankfully awake, thinking about who could be the boy Lily had smelled in her amortentia.

Seamus? No
Dean? No
Ron? No way

While Harry was mentally crossing out the names he could think of, suddenly he heard a peck on his window, exalted he turned around and exhaled relieved, it was Lily's owl and he had a letter

Harry please come, I'm in the hospital wing.
Ps. bring your invisibility cloak! -L

Harry didn't hesitate twice and squatted down with the cloak over him, on the way he didn't run into any teachers which made him go faster, he opened the door which made a slight squeak but at that time of night everything sounds a thousand times more dramatic.

—"Harry! Is that you?"— Lily whispered

—"Yes, I'm here"— and proceeded to take off the cloak.

Lily gave him a short hug —"Great, let's go."—

—"Wait"— Harry walked over to the gurney where Oliver was lying.

—"What were you doing at this time of night with Wood?"— asked Harry with a frown.

—"I fell asleep while I was keeping an eye on him to make sure he was alright"— replied Lily

—"But isn't Madam Pomfrey there for that?"— continued Harry

—"Harry is this 20 questions or what? Let's go!"— replied Lily a little tiredly.

—"Alright"— Harry covered her with the cloak and they headed for Gryffindor.

Walking quietly down the corridors Lily said in a very low voice —"Thank you Harry, I mean it."—

—"It was nothing, really"— he paused —"Lil, you and I tell each other everything right?"—

Lily looked at him and grabbed his hands —"Of course you do, why do you ask?"—

Harry was about to ask her about the amortentia but he didn't want to keep pushing her with questions —"No reason, I just wanted to reaffirm it"— he smiled.

Lily smiled back.

Lily woke up now in her bed, she didn't remember how she got there she only remembered being too sleepy to walk

—"Look who's awake already"— Hermione said as she fixed her hair  —"It's noon Lil I can't believe how much sleep you got"— she giggled

—"Noon? God, Her today is the Slytherin party and I don't have anything to wear"— Lily put a pillow over her head and groaned in despair
