Chapter 5: A Bingsu is not the same as shaved ice.

"Huh, very good. The freshman who now finished performing will be raised by Pung."

"Oh King, what about you?"

"Oh, don't be nervous. You're one of the third-year vice presidents."

"Yes, take it easy," said the third-year president of the Coma house, shaking his head in anguish at his youngsters, clearly understanding their feelings as a senior who had to raise them for a year.

"Brothers, let's sit down and watch the show first." King came in to help his junior.

After leaving the stage, they were surrounded by a group of seniors, both men, and women. The little ones could only scratch their heads in bewilderment and confusion, allowing the older ones to take pictures without getting a little rest.

"Thank you, P'King," Namtarn said to the person who helped him separate himself from the crowd that was asking for a photo.

“I think now it's going to be a bit tiring. Although we would like to have many people in our house. Don't you think so, Mangkorn?"

"Why the day…uh…yeah?"

The ending was abruptly changed.

Mangkorn secretly saw the little boy who was looking straight into his eyes, as if warning him not to say bad words in front of him.

Usually, Mangkorn didn't give in to anyone like that…but today…he's especially cute, so he let him win for a day.

"Then let me sit in the meeting room first, the mentors will respond later."

Mangkorn and Pung nodded to King.

Although it was a pity that he did not get to congratulate the little one, Mangkorn thought he still had a long time to talk to him.

"Did you hear the sound from the audience? They are delighted."

"Actually, I'm tired. Seriously, if there isn't an awesome show at the end, our performance will certainly be a winner. I think Opal was a genius."

"Of course, when the dance is not good, the comedy must come," Opal said in a tone of great pride, admitting that the audience enjoyed their performance.

“But I have my little Namtarn to thank more. This event was definitely a good one. We are part of the Namtarn fan club."

"Yes, it wasn't that much," said the little boy.

"This would have been a disaster if Namtarn hadn't wanted to be creative," Namtarn smiled at hearing this.

After the show, Namtarn felt as if a heavy mountain had been lifted from his chest, causing the little one to give a sweet smile to everyone.

"Very good nong."

"Uh, P'Ice, was I good at dancing?"

"Yes, very good sir. You did it very well."

Namtarn puffed out his cheeks towards his real brother for a kiss on the cheek, making the friends standing there almost wanting to scream at the adorable cuteness of the siblings.

If they weren't aware that the two of them were real siblings, they would definitely think that they were dating.

"I will go back first. I have to answer the questions that juniors have in my faculty. I'll let Opal take care of Namtarn."

"Yes, don't worry. I won't allow a single ant to climb."

"Thanks, I'll see you when you're done, Namtarn."

"Yes. See you," Namtarn said goodbye to his brother to prepare for the mentor's selection since Ice also had juniors that he had to take care of.

"Namtarn and Deer are going separate ways to go with their friends, right?"

"Yes, I and Namtarn can walk alone, Opal can go back to your own group."

"Okay, I'll see you guys. You two were amazing today."

After he parted ways with Opal, they returned to the faculty auditorium, where the event was taking place.

They walked down the aisle towards the seat Muay had been reserving for them, but when the two of them arrived, all five seats were empty as the rest were preparing for their performance.

"Are you excited?," after taking a seat, Deer asked his friend.

He remembered how worried his little friend was before the performance, so he didn't hesitate to ask to be sure.

"I'm fine. Now I feel very relieved, and it's also fun." The little boy replied in a good mood.

"Well, well, after you got off the stage, the older people were interested in you, Namtarn. Today you look really cute as Opal said. Without Namtarn, people would not have liked our performance so much."

“It is not like that. It is because we are wearing these nice clothes, and the older people wanted to take pictures with us. Deer, you are dressed up in a deer suit and it is very cute,” replied the little boy in a baby bear costume.

It was not uncommon for others to have this idea. They just thought that their elders would definitely like the baby bear suit he was wearing because the bear suit looked so cute as it was Namtarn's size.

"If Namtarn says so. I wasn't quite sure about us dressing like that," Deer said.

"Deer is cute, Namtarn believes it."

When his friend said that, Deer was happy and clearly believed him.

Their conversation ended when the RMF house show began. Today's last show. The two looked at the stage with eager interest as there were friends from their group performing.

The final performance came with a theme song that mimicked a famous Broadway show but the viewers thought it was a dialogue about business communication and it was not a show, and as a result, the RMF musical became a comedy for the public, like any other house, they forgot the script, so they played the wrong scene.

"The performance of the RMF house is over. Applause!"

"Yes, it was a very fun drama. So now, let's invite the younger ones to come down and take a break because in a moment there will be an activity for the mentor to recognize their juniors as everyone has been waiting for.”

At the end of the host's voice, Namtarn re-examined the clue he had received from the first day of school, which said 'don't eat so many sweets, that was the only thing in his mentor's identity clue.

At first, Namtarn did not understand the meaning of the clue he had received, but in the last few days, the little person had learned a lot.

He also talked to his brother often, so the little one was sure he knew who owned this person who did not like to eat sweets.

The rule of the activity was that if the younger generation found their mentor, that mentor had to give a reward to his nong, and Namtarn was sitting and thinking about the reward he wanted, ensuring that Namtarn's mentor would definitely be exhausted to cater to his demand.

"Khee," he thought and couldn't help but laugh.

The little boy secretly smiled out of the corners of his mouth like the villains in cartoons he used to see. Doing that, he thought it was a cunning smile, but when it appeared on Namtarn's face, it didn't turn out that way he thought at all.

“What are you laughing at, Namtarn?” Min said, when he saw the little boy with a big smile, laughing alone.

“Huh--huh … Oh, I'm just thinking a little,” he was a little surprised when Min sat down to say hello.

Min shook his head slightly at his friend's tenderness. Since Namtarn said there was nothing, so he did not care.

"Okay, let's go to the mentoring session, please," the announcer's voice said.

The second-year students were in charge of order so they kept the children's chairs and placed them next to the auditorium to facilitate upcoming activities.

"As for the freshmen, the seniors will bring them a sheet of paper for them to write the mentor's name from the clue that they think is correct. Once finished, send it to the older ones. They will put a blindfold on the freshman's eyes, and they will follow the instructions given.”

Namtarn wrote the paper and received a completely black eye mask before the seniors arrived to help him tie the blindfold.

"Follow P'Mana, without hurry."

After Namtarn was blindfolded. The visual nerve temporarily stopped working and only the darkness and the voices of the people in the meeting room sounded.

The little boy grabbed the older's hand and then walked slowly with fearful steps, s if all his trust was given only to the guide who was holding his hand.

When the elder told Namtarn to sit on the floor, the little one's worries ended. The elder slowly helped Namtarn to sit up, not hurriedly, and when he sat down, he whispered softly.

"Don't open your eyes until you receive an order."

"Yes," the little boy actively replied.

Within the world of darkness, Namtarn's senses of hearing and other senses worked better than usual.

The little one heard the voices of the elders saying similar phrases many times and he felt the reaction of the people slowly stop in front of him.

Hot air radiated across the area in front of him, making Namtarn realize someone was sitting down, and if it wasn't bad, that would be the mentor he was sure he knew.

"Well, now I ask the freshman to remove the blindfold in front of them so that they can meet their mentor."

Namtarn slowly removed the blindfold as instructed.

The first thing Namtarn saw was that there was still a dark image, but the difference was that this time, there was candlelight that had been lit enough to see the dim atmosphere upon looking up.

He blinked a few times to adjust the focus before the image in front of him cleared out, revealing a tall, big, sharp face, sending him a gentle smile in a way that Namtarn had never seen before ...

'P'Mangkorn'

"..."

“Aren't you surprised?”

As the entire audience resonated with the voices of their peers speaking to their mentors, some even acted exaggeratedly when they met their mentor's face. It wasn't the same for Namtarn.

"Mangkorn doesn't eat so many sweets," said the little boy in a sly voice, raising his eyebrows and shrugging his shoulders showing versatility.

‘Don't eat so many sweets' was really suitable for the person in front of him. He played his cards. He drank only bitter coffee every day, well, Namtarn knew that well.

"Yes, very well. Welcome to your line," Mangkorn shook his head slightly.

To be honest, he did not intend to hide in the first place, but he did not think that he had been grouped with little one from the beginning.

"You're so old, why are you in the second year, ah?" Namtarn asked because actually, the person who should be sitting there had to be a second-year brother.

"No, this line is only for those over the fourth year and their youngest."

"Oh," the little boy nodded in a forced way.

"What do you want for a prize, little one?" Mangkorn sat to his side and gently rubbed the cute man's head, before asking him what he wanted.

"Why do you like to call me small, P'Bitter? I am not small. I am in a growth stage. If you call me small again, you will stop being my mentor and I will really let P'King be."

Once again, Mangkorn had to laugh at the attitude of the smaller person when he made fun of his size

Namtarn might not know how they decided things like this. However, Namtarn would have to be with him for a long time.

"Since I can't call you that, for today I will give you everything. Ask me for anything you want. With this, will you be satisfied N'Namtarn?"

Usually, Mangkorn would have to buy chocolate to reconcile with the little person who liked to puff out his cheeks every time he teased but today, he was in a position where he could reveal himself as the stubborn child's mentor, and today the little person was especially cute.

Mangkorn would give him what his heart wanted for a day so that he could please the person in front of him and he would stop growling.

"You can get mad. But you have to take Namtarn to eat ten cups of bingsu or I'll get really mad."

"Yes, I can buy hundreds of cups, but first give me a hand."

"Namtarn is not a dog. Don't pretend you can do that with Namtarn!"

'Not only do you like to think of me as a dwarf, but you also think now that I am a dog. One, one hand, and this is for the dogs', Namtarn inwardly cursed.

"Not like this. But why are you so sensitive? Spread out a little and I'll tie something to your wrist."

Namtarn turned left, turned right, looked sideways, and then saw that the friends around them were having each of their mentors tie something to their wrists, seeing that, the little boy agreed to approach the mentor to help him tie something to his wrists.

"Concentrate on studying, okay? If you don't understand, you can ask me as long as you want."

"Thank you ... P'Mangkorn."

Maybe this was the sweetest line between Mangkorn and Namtarn until now.

Although Namtarn was often stubborn towards him, he had various ways of keeping control of the stubborn child within him.

Regardless of what it was, Mangkorn was not afraid of him!

It was, as expected, the best performance award that went to the Coma house, unopposed in the eyes of the audience.

The prize for the travel package in Suan Phueng District in Ratchaburi Province went to Namtarn and his friends. This trip would take place in the middle of the semester after school work so this would not interfere with anyone's studies.

After all the activities, at the end of the event, there was a party in which the older ones intended to organize to welcome the little ones who joined the family.

There was a wide variety of dishes, including sweet to savory, that came from the average budget of the seniors who helped pay for this event.

There was also a live band of alumni that created an atmosphere throughout the event, to strengthen the relationship between seniors and juniors, but for some people, they asked to return to their accommodation after all activities had ended, so as not to have to travel in the dark after an event like this.

Others choose to dine at the event, including Namtarn and his close friends who also stayed at the event.

"Deer, who is your mentor?"

“P'Namon. Who is your mentor, Namtarn? “Deer referred to an older woman in the house that she had seen pass by a couple of times.

"I have P'Mangkorn."

"Oh, that's good. We want P'Mangkorn to be our mentor too."

"Why?"

"Tell me, if someone dares to fight with you, would you let P'Ice do it all for you," Deer laughed as he listened to what the little friend had to say. Wasn't it normal that the person who ran was the one who said the phrase?

"No, P'Namon is kind, but P'Mangkorn is our senior student, so we thought it would be better to talk to P'Mangkorn ."

"Oh really, Deer came from the same school as P'Mangkorn, so we can share P'Mangkorn too. Namtarn isn't going to get jealous."

"Haha. How are we going to share? Okay. But P'Namon is sweet too."

"What are you two talking about? I also want to join." Min, who recently won the moon contest, asked the two little friends who were talking and laughing, as for Muay and Ja, they also wanted to join the conversation.

"We're talking about the mentors."

"It's true, your house just revealed the mentor. Who is your mentor?"

“My mentor is P'Namon. As for Namtarn's, it's P’Mangkorn," Deer replied.

"Hoi, the older brother, and the little one have come together," Muay said.

"Ugh, alright. P'Mangkorn as mentor is really suitable for Namtarn," the two girls yelled at the same time.

They really couldn't help but be happy with Phi like P'Mangkorn and a cute little brother like Namtarn together.

It was no wonder young women like them began to fantasize and of course, there was one person in the conversation who didn't fully understand the matter.

"Why should it be appropriate or not? If not appropriate, can't he be my mentor?" Asked the little boy, wondering.

"It's nothing, Namtarn. It's something that girls like us only understand."

"It is very nice our Namtarn is very young, beautiful, and cute, and P'Mangkorn is really your type", the two girls kept yelling.

Namtarn still wanted to understand what his two friends were talking about because for him, that was growing as an adult.

" Don't we know if Namtarn is a bottom or a top? He's the lovely type." To understand what was happening, Namtarn had to ask, what is a bottom Namtarn?

"He’s going to be with him for a long time, so Namtarn will find out, right?"

Deer understood what the girls were talking about.

"No kidding, right? Namtarn is confused. In any case, they are all brothers."

"Yes, you can't tease. Don't get frustrated," they both said.

"Namtarn."

"You're calling Namtarn?"

Namtarn turned to the familiar tone of his mentor, not sure if the other person was calling him or not because the words sounded strange. He didn't dare call Namtarn like he normally did, out of fear.

"My little brother wanted to eat a Bingsu, so here I am, or don't you want to eat it anymore?"

"I want to eat, P'Mangkorn. Take me to eat some."

"Ah, uh, go ahead. I don't think P'Ice will worry too much if you're going to eat with your mentor."

The tall man was too impatient when he was with his own junior for the first time. He thought that thanks to the Bingsu, he could see his nong's cute side for the first time.

"Wait a minute, Namtarn will tell P'Ice first." The little boy ran quickly towards his brother, leaving Mangkorn standing in the middle of his friends. As for his friends, they sent him a look incessantly.

"I want to go eat Bingsu, Muay," Ja said, in a provocative tone.

"I'll take you to eat it. Today, I think the Bingsu is going to be extra sweet."

Mangkorn smiled at the strange words of the two younger sisters. He didn't know what they were thinking, so he kept quiet.

"Namtarn, you already asked permission. P'Ice will finish his work and pick me up at the store."

"So, let's go."

"Wait a minute, P'Mangkorn… Can Deer join us? Deer's mentor is very sweet, so Deer will share her with me and I will share you with him. Can P'Mangkorn raise Deer too?" Said the little boy in a sweet voice, but he didn't know what the sentence he said would make the listeners think.

"Ha ... ha," It's not just Mangkorn, but also the two women like Muay and Ja gasp at what came out of the Namtarn's mouth.

"Namtarn you are wrong. I think my mentor will not let her be taken over by P'Mangkorn."

All three sighed in relief when Deer explained what Namtarn meant. He probably forgot that the owner of the previous sentence was Namtarn, so he thought to that point.

"Oh, you can even think about that. You keep telling me you want P'Mangkorn, that's why I said.."

"Please go first Namtarn, Deer still wants to be at the event."

“Yeah Muay and Ja still want to be at the event too… Also, if we will go, let's go to ABC,” he said in a funny tone and turned around to laugh at each other.

"Oh then please let me have Namtarn first."

"Take your time, and don't forget to protect him."

"Muay, what are you talking about?"

“Well, I don't know, the woman's yaoi glands may attack him.”

Of course, the above sentences, which had just come out of the woman, would never have been understood because the fujoshi girl said it jokingly, but the girl's sense was strong right now but put a little more, it probably won't be ...

"Where are we going to go?"

"..."

"Namtarn said the store he ate at that time was delicious."

"Well, this is where I drove that time, we met."

"I went to the store behind the University," the tall man hit the turn signal light as a warning signal.

A luxury car swerved to the right from the Faculty of Economics, driving in a straight line shortly before stopping in the parking lot under the school building.

"We arrived," said Mangkorn.

"At the university, do we also have a Bingsu store? Namtarn didn't even know it," said the little boy as he opened the door and followed the older man before hurrying to a stop next to the driver who was also his guide.

“Yes, I ate here several times from the time I attended school.”

Two people, two different sizes, flanked together as they entered the central cafeteria of the university.

Even though it was night, the cafeteria area was still packed with students from various colleges and because the university had so little space available, it was natural to see the cheerleaders from each college practicing in an area that people could see.

"Oh, really?"

The two men walked hand in hand without even knowing it.

The sight of the two walking hand in hand came as a big surprise to the students seated in the area as the famous third-year student of the university walked hand in hand with a cute little boy.

Also, the person leading the walk with the little boy was smiling so much that people who knew him couldn't help but pick up their mobile phone to take pictures but that didn't stop the little boy from paying the least attention to his favorite Bingsu.

“Here, you can order bingsu.” When he stopped in front of the dessert shop last time, he yelled at the shopkeeper's aunt who was busy cleaning behind the shop to come take the order.

"Ah ... Uh," he said.

"Won't you order? Auntie will go to the store for a moment."

"It's not Bingsu. I don't want it. You said you'd take me to eat Bingsu. This is shaved ice!"

Mangkorn stood still for a while, he was sure that Bingsu and shaved ice were the same kinds of dessert, and why did the little boy suddenly become sensitive to it again?

"It's the same, isn't it?"

"It is not the same. The scraped thread is frozen water to which colored water is added, with condensed milk, and then Bingsu softens and melts in the mouth. The ice is also not the same. This P' doesn't get it!”

The little boy was a bit resentful, but he won't let anyone mess up the atmosphere of his dessert.

"Please, Bingsu is Bingsu. Shaved ice is shaved ice. They are not the same."

"Uh, I was wrong. Sorry, can you eat this first?"

"No, Namtarn wants to eat Bingsu."

"Come on, if you're going to eat Bingsu, I'll just buy you a cup. But if it's shaved ice, I'll buy it every day for you. What kind of thing do you choose?"

In the Mangkorn dictionary, there was no other stubborn child like him ...

“Damn... Okay.”

When adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing the situation, Namtarn thought if he ate shaved ice, which was the third favorite dish of his of every day and night. P'Ice also took him to eat cakes, it really worth more than eating a single cup of Bingsu. So the little boy accepted the offer and turned to place an order with the shopkeeper, despite the loss.

"Huh," but if Namtarn was so easy to coerce like this, he's sure he could handle that kid.

How was this possible …?
