I leave the classroom and go after Ruby. I eventually caught up with her talking to Weiss about what happened back then. Not wanting to interrupt and make things worse, I hid just around the corner behind the Little Jewel and eavesdropped on them to make sense of things.

Ruby: Weiss, what is wrong with you!? What happened to all the talk of "working together"? I thought you believed in acting as a team! You even went as far as to give Carrion a chance too!

Weiss: Not in a team led by YOU!!! I've studied and trained and frankly, I deserve better! Ozpin made a mistake! Especially when he allowed him to be in our team!

Weiss then storms off with a huff, leaving Ruby feeling dejected. Once she leaves, I come out of hiding and announce my presence to the sad jewel.

Carrion: Well that went about as well as I thought.

Ruby: Carrion! When did you get here!?

Carrion: You didn't use your semblance to catch up with her. It wasn't hard to keep up with you.

Ruby: Oh...

I look at Ruby as she puts on her dejected face again.

Ruby: Carrion...did Ozpin make a mistake...accepting you?

Carrion: *Sigh* Who knows. But one thing is for sure, there's no way to know that. But what there is to know is whether it's a mistake for you to accept me or not. So tell me. Was it a mistake to accept me? A monster in human skin?

Ruby: N-NO!!! It's not a mistake! You're so nice to those around you! You protect those who cannot protect themselves. You would even sacrifice yourself for your friends! Accepting you was not a mistake! And you're not a monster! You're my teammate now, and I am your leader!

Ruby then proceed to catch her breath while I look at her while being proud of her.

Carrion: That's the Little Jewel I know. Just so you know, being a team leader requires you to take responsibility for your team's actions. Especially mine's. When something happens, you better be there to help me out. Alright?

Ruby: *Catches breath* Of course! I'll be at your side faster than you can say Ruby!

Carrion: That's my leader, alright! Now, let's head to our next class. I'll also get you something nice later.

Ruby: Ooh! What is it!?

Carrion: You'll have to see tonight. See ya, Little Jewel.

Ruby: Oh, ok! See ya soon, Carrion!

I then left Ruby to her devices and proceed to my next class but was then bumped into Ozpin several seconds later.

Ozpin: Why, hello Carrion. How was your first class?

Carrion: Cut the formal act, Oz. Knowing you, you definitely eavesdropped on the conversation back there.

Ozpin: And you're right about that. That was sweet of you, comforting Ms. Rose. Not to mention even inspiring her to work harder as your team leader.

Carrion: Stop. That's embarrassing now. Anyways, where's Weiss?

Ozpin: I saw her heading in that direction. *Points at another hallway* If I'm guessing correctly, Professor Port should be over there at this time. Knowing him, he's definitely giving Weiss a heart-to-heart talk right now.

Carrion: Great. As boring as his class is, he should get the job done.

Ozpin: Boring?

Carrion: I'm surprised, Oz. No one ever told you? Much of what he does in class is just ramble on about his heroic past and not much about grimm biology. Though I know much about them since I eat them.
