Sometime after the little skirmish between me and the entirety of CRDL, I find myself trying to keep up with Professor Oobleck's lecture speed. Sure I have a great memory, but this is a tad too fast for even a cheetah to even comprehend.
Oobleck: This is prior to the Faunus Rights Revolution, or more popularly known as the Faunus War.
He then zooms back to his desk to down another gulp of coffee before resuming.
Oobleck: Now! while this may feel like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively recent events. Why. The repercussions of the uprising can still be seen to this day.
After another gulp of coffee and speeding around the front of the class, he finally speaks out.
Oobleck: Now! Have any among you have been subjugated or discriminated against because of your faunus heritage?
Almost, if not, all of the faunus students raise their hands. Albeit reluctantly. Velvet was no exception too.
Oobleck: Dreadful, simply dreadful! Remember students, it is precisely this kind of ignorance that breeds violence!
Again, after another gulp of his coffee later, he resumed.
Oobleck: I mean, I mean, look at what happened to the White Fang! Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorize to be the turning point in the third year of the war!?
Weiss raised her hand and Oobleck nodded at her, waiting for a response.
Weiss: The battle at Fort Castle.
Oobleck: Precisely, Ms. Schnee! Now, who can tell me the advantage the faunuses had over General Lagune's forces?
It was at this time that I heard a rather strange sound of paper being folded. I look towards the direction of the sound and see Cardin about to toss a paper airplane at a sleeping Jaune. As he was aiming, I quickly shot out a thin but strong shot of webbing from my foot and it latched to one of his chair's legs. With a little pull, the chair turned a bit which and resulted in Cardin's aim facing Oobleck instead. Not so fortunate for the caffeine-speed professor but even more unfortunate for the muscle-headed buffoon.
Oobleck: ACK!!! WHO THREW THAT!?!?!?
Even more unfortunate for Cardin, everyone but Oobleck and Cardin's teammates saw the general direction of where the airplane came from and all looked to Cardin.
I then look back in Cardin's direction and my team, having already caught onto this, looked at him too. Soon all of the other students, but Jaune, look at him. This leaves the bastard gushing cold sweat.
Oobleck: Mr. Winchester! Seeing as how everyone sees you as the culprit here, why don't you answer my question?
Cardin: Hmph. Why don't you ask an actual faunus? Aren't animals easier to train than humans?
Most of us in the classroom, including Professor Oobleck groans in disgust and dissatisfaction.
Pyrrha: You're not very open-minded, aren't you Cardin?
Meanwhile, I willed a tendril to emerge from my foot and have it make its way over to Jaune's ear. Ren saw it but knew it was me thanks to my crimson color scheme. A fanged mouth then emerges and opened at the end of it and I speak to the sleepyhead in a whisper.
Carrion: *Whisper*Jaune, wake up. Class is still in session, sleepyhead.
Jaune then wakes up and I quickly retract my tendril back into my main body.
Oobleck: Enough, everybody. Who else knows the answer.
This is when Jaune fully woke up and was about to be called upon, but Pyrrha raised her hand first so Oobleck nodded to her.
