Chapter 13

Remi POV

I opened the door to John's apartment. All the lights were off and it was quiet.
I walked out and back to the group

"You sure he's in there" I asked

"Yep, in the room above and to the right of the stairs" Isen said using his x ray vision

"Okay thanks" I said walking back to the apartment

I closed the door behind me and walked up the stairs

I entered John's bedroom and saw him curled up in the fetal position under a blanket, quietly sobbing.

I pulled the blanket off him, but leaving the light off. John seemed to be startled by the sudden movement. He looked up at me then buried his face in the bed

"John?" I asked him

"What" John said his voice muffled by the bed

"What's wrong" I asked

John didn't say anything

"Do you think Sera and Isen hate you now?" I asked

John nodded without saying anything

"Well they don't" I said

John looked up at me

"T-They don't?" He asked looking up at mm

"Nope, I asked them" I said

John buried his face in my chest and cried

"We were all so worried about you" I told him

"W-Why" he asked through tears

"Because you're our friend" Isen said walking in

"How did you get in here" I asked him

"You left the door open" Sera said from behind Isen

"Oh" I said

Sera and Isen sat down on the side of the bed.

"Are Arlo, Claire, and Adrion still outside" I asked

"Yep" Isen said

"Claire and Adrion are here?" John asked his face still buried in my chest

"Yep, they wanted to help find you" I said

"Oh" John said

"Me and Isen can go get them, if you want" Sera said

"Sure get them" John said

"Do you want us to get Arlo too?" Isen asked

"Sure, but don't let them up here I'll come down" John said

"Okay" Sera and Isen said at the same time making all of us laugh

Once they were gone, John removed his face from my chest and looked at me

"Sorry" he said still crying

"It fine" I said pulling his head back to my chest

"Thank you" he whispered

"Always" I said

John looked up at me after a few seconds. I touched his cheek and pulled him in for a kiss. Our lips met and we kissed until we heard clapping from the door

"Everyone is down stairs" Isen said in the door way

"Okay" I said

John stood up and we made our way to the living room. Sera, Claire, Adrion, and Arlo were sitting on the couch. Claire and Adrion were looking at picture frame John had had on his desk
