"You guys are sure about this?" I asked for about the millionth time. Andi, each time rolling her eyes, announced after about three that I was definitely the worrying twin.

"Yes, Tomi. You and Lina couldn't very well move to the Earth Kingdom," Jaxon pointed out, like it was obvious.

"That wasn't exactly my point--"

"Tomi, quit trying to change their minds!" Lina said.

The four of us were gathered at the docks of Republic City. Despite the fact that we offered to get them a boat ticket, they were insistent on taking the mongoose lizards back.

"We can take a boat when we come back with all our stuff," Andi promised.

They made the decision to more to Republic City and stay with Lina, Jemma and me in the town house Jemma was looking into buying.

"Family sticks together," Andi reminded me. Apparently she considered us the only family we had left. I didn't disagree with her at this point. Although I hadn't bothered to contact Dad about this, or anything else for that matter, I was sure he would get the idea when I didn't come back. Maybe he was already expecting it, after all the lies he told me.

Jemma told them countless times they would have plenty of room until more permanent arrangements were decided. Until then, Andi and Jaxon still had to move out of Mrs. Hudders' place ("She'll be a wreck when she finds out."). I didn't ask Andi if she was going to tell Mom. I was sure Mom would also figure out on her own.

"We'll be back in a couple of days," Andi promised. She surprised me by giving me a hug before mounting Pablo. Jaxon followed her lead and wrapped Lina and me into a group hug.

"See you soon," he promised. I couldn't help but smile at the dysfunctional, amazing family we managed to string together.

We waved them off, then headed back to the apartment to start packing ourselves.

"Nothing from Hiro?" Lina asked, trying to make it casual.

I shook my head. "Nothing yet."

"You'll tell me when, though, right? So we can do it together?" She sounded almost nervous, like I could possibly find a girl to replace her.

I wrapped an arm around her waist and planted a kiss on her cheek. "I wouldn't dream of doing it without you," I said.

Lina stopped in her tracks, turning to look at me. "I love you, Tomi. You know that, right?" She was terribly serious. So serious it was hard not to kiss her.

"'Course I do. A little reassurance is always nice, though." After I second, I added with no doubt, "I love you, too."

I leaned down and kissed her for a long moment. The city around us faded out, and I didn't need anything but this.

As it felt like my life was picking up in one huge whirl wind, I was staring to surprise myself when I responded with don't stop now.

A/N: THE END! I hope you enjoyed it! Please let me know what you thought! Thanks so much for reading!
