Chapter 13

Mew's pov

I was damn scared When mom called me about my brother being in hospital. At first even I taught it was thorn but the moment I saw tul outside the ICU . I couldn't breathe . I now understand which brother mom spoke about. It's phi max .

I rushed and hugged phi tul . He is phi Max's fiance.he runs a law farm . Look at their combo one is a gangster and the other one is a lawyer.

Gulf helped me relax.he words calm me down . He has a lot of effect on me.  I know he is confused about phi max . But I will explain him everything later .
While waiting outside I couldn't help but think about the past .

Phi max and phi thorn are siblings. He is not my blood brother but we never felt different. basically we 3 grew up together after the death of their mother . My father and their father were brother's.

My father continued my grand father's business but my uncle entered mafia world . The woman he loved was the daughter of a mafia clan so he had to leave us and settled with them . But when due to gang rivalry  she was killed he sent both of his sons to my parents.  They stayed with my parents even before I was born . So as I grew up with them we never felt like cousin's it was like we were own brother's. I used to love both of them . Phi max used to close me than phi thorn . Because he always pampered me and even I liked it . Phi thorn is elder one among us . when he was 27 years old suddenly my uncle expired due to heart failure. Their grand paa asked phi thorn to carry on the clan but he didn't show intrest. But phi max accepted the offer. I begged him to not accept it because it may sound adventures to be a gangster but it's too dangerous for his life . But he didn't listen to me . We ended up fighting and I stopped talking to him from that day . He asked me for forgiveness many times but I didn't respond.i love family more than anything I can't bear to loose anyone .it's been 3 years I ignored him .but he still texts me , sends me gifts and always makes sure am safe . Deep down even I crave for his affection but i didn't let my ego down .now am regretting everything what If something happens to me . I will feel guilty lifelong for not talking to him .

After what seemed like eternity the doctor exited the ICU.
When he asked about patients relative's .phi tul rushed .we were waiting anxiously.

Tul:- mew relax the doctor is alright . No danger.the bullet didn't effect his vital organs . They gave sedatives and he will be transferred to private room and mostly after 24 hrs he will wake up .

Mew:- thank god phi .I will stay here with you. Is that okay for you ?

Tul :- what about your work tommorow ?

Mew:- I will leave if I have any emergencies.please phi let me stay na na .

Tul:- okay okay you can stay . Stop using those puppy eyes with me .
I turned to gulf

Mew:- shall I drop at your home .it's already late .

Gulf:- it's okay mew I will take a cab .
Before I could speak dad answered.

Dad :- no need of taxi we will drop you . Any way we are leaving .why not together. Taxi is not safe young man .
Gulf was hesitating abit . But I hold his hand and nodded at him .

Gulf :- sure sir I will leave then .

Mew:- bye baby take care call me when you reach home okay ?
And dad drop my boyfriend safely .

My dad rolled my eyes at me . But my mom was looking intently at gulf .they won't scare him right ?

Gulf :- okay mew take care I will see you tomorrow morning bye love you .
He pecked on my forehead before leaving.

Gulf's pov

when we reached parking lot . His father gestured me to take back seat with his wife . I wanted to meet his parents but Ofcourse not like this situation. My baby even asked his father to drive me home safely.such a sweetheart.i was snapped of my thoughts when his father called me .

Dad:- so young man what's your name ?

Gulf:- my name is gulf kanawut.

Mom:- so gulf do you like my son ?

Gulf:- yes mam .

Dad :- what do you do ?

Gulf:- I work as a pediatrician in the hospital we just left .

Dad:- what's your age ?

Gulf:- i am  27 years old .

Mom:- honey stop pestering him . You know about mewwie right . He won't like if you make his boyfriend uncomfortable.

Gulf:- it's okay mam .

Mom:- you really look beautiful for a man .

I blushed at her compliment.

Mom:- oh my god look at your
blushing cheeks . I now understand why did he choose you ?

I looked at her with a small smile .

Mom:- don't worry if mew troubles
you tell me I will smack his butt.

I can't help but laugh out loudly imaging mew getting smacked. Awww my boyfie looks cute .

Dad:- so how did you guys meet ?

Gulf:- phi  Thorn and I were friends at the orphanage he used to visit. So he Invited me .that's when I met mew and we instantly clicked.later we met at a colleague's party and we started seeing eachother from then .

Mom:- can I ask you one thing gulf ?

Gulf :- yes .

Mom:- can you stay with him till the end .  I trust you because I saw the spark In both of your eyes.stay with him that's enough to make him happy .

Gulf:-  I don't know what the future holds for us .but I will love him with all my heart .

After that we spoke about few random things before reaching my apartment.i bid them good byes and left to my home . After reaching I freshen up and text mew that I reached safely . I was feeling tired slowly the sleep took over .
