Have you heard of the siren's song?
Her voice compels one to adore
And feel like one truly belongs
To her; her voice, one yearns for more.
Even those who know right from wrong,
When they stray too far from the shore
Her sweet serenade proves too strong
For them; their bodies wash ashore.
If your life, you wish to prolong
When you plan to sail and explore,
Bring a fellow or more along
To warn you of her voice before
She starts singing her siren song
And lures you to the ocean floor.
