Hermione's Girl Crush

Part 20: class

Hermione awoke late that morning. She sat up her head still foggy from sleep. She looked around to see the room empty as she expected. The books she had scoured through the previous night had been sprawled about her bed.

She slowly made her way to standing. She was sore from last night and would much rather lay in bed than go to class, but then again it is class and she would never miss one. She quickly tried to put herself together and ran down the stairs and towards her class.

She was lucky enough to arrive a few minutes early, surprisingly Ron and Harry were there already. They at their usual seats and waved Hermione over when she entered the classroom. Ron held a small pastry wrapped in a napkin for her,

"Thought you might want something to eat," He smiled brushing some crumbs from his face. She opened the napkin to find he had taken a small bite from it,

"Thank you, Ronald," Hermione smiled and she sat in her seat and quickly ate the pastry as she pulled out her things for class. Ron's face turned worried when she spoke he leaned over to Harry,

"Should I be scared, I don't think I did anything wrong," he spoke in a whispered manner to Harry causing both him and Hermione to giggle,

"Ron, I think she meant it genuinely," Harry spoke through a smile and small laugh as he slapped a hand on Ron's back. Ron muttered an 'ok' nervously as he turned back to his parchment.

Just as Hermione finished her pastry the professor entered the room and began their lecture.
