Mr. Hong is dead

Who would've expected that it could happen so fast?

Veronica was standing in a hospital room, where a man was laying on the bed while Ms. Hong was sitting on the chair

They both were waiting for Vincenzo to wake up

Veronica sighed, looking at her twin who was laying there, still unconscious

She remembered when Ms. Hong and her were walking towards the restaurant where Vincenzo and Mr. Hong had always went to

But they were stunned by the scene

A truck has crashed the restaurant, killing them two

Well, almost, for Vincenzo

Mr. Hong was killed in the incident whereas Vincenzo was slightly injured

She companied Ms. Hong on the funeral, and stayed with the woman

She regretted her actions towards her father ever since her mother's death

She was now alone, no parents, siblings, or relatives by her side

Veronica snapped to reality when she heard Ms. Hong shouted

"I'm paying for this private room and your hospital bills just to hear your story!"

Veronica felt bad

She wanted to pay for it but Ms. Hong insisted on covering the bills instead

"Do you even know how much it costs?"

"Then let's go to the bank first"

"Just wire it to me"

Silence

Veronica, who was staring at the window turned around at the voice

Ms. Hong looked at him, horrific, embarrassed and relieved at the same time

Vincenzo opened his eyes

"Vincenzo?"

Veronica called out, rushing towards his bed where he suddenly got up, almost hitting Veronica's forehead and took of the wire thing from his hand

"You woke up so randomly. What is going on?"

Ms. Hong asked

He stretched and let out a relieved groan

"Hello there, dear sister" he said innocently as Veronica looked at him and blinked twice
