One year had passed, and a lot of things have changed. Vincenzo fled to Italy to avoid the Korean Police after he killed Jang Han-seok, the tenants didn't change much except Mr. Lee and Ms. Jang who gave birth to a beautiful girl. Veronica and Vincenzo was chosen by them to be her godparents and Veronica cried happy tears when they broke the news to her

Han-seo's death affected the girl, but she remained strong for him. She knew that he'd hate to see her like that, crying and mourning everyday for him

He wouldn't like that

She'd cry every night with no one to comfort her. Sometimes, she even stayed at Han-seo's house, reliving some memories that they created

Although it wasn't much, it was enough to make her happy

Before Han-seo passed away, he gave the company to Veronica, leaving the girl alone to manage it but fortunately for her, it was a piece of cake

She calmly managed the chaos of the company, slowly bringing it back up as the most successful company. No more issues and lawsuits filed for the company anymore ever since the girl became the Chairwoman

Ms. Choi died by fire, and Mr. Han by stabs from his back. Both deaths wasn't caused by the same person. Jang Han-seok killed Mr. Han and Vincenzo killed Ms. Choi

Jang Han-seok's death was cruel, but enough to satisfy Veronica for what he did

Ms. Hong and Mr. Nam continued to work together for the trial that was coming about her late mother's case. And obviously, the female lawyer won, resulting a heavy punishment for the chairwoman of Shinkwang Bank whereas her son is in prison

Ms. Hong and Veronica's friendship grew stronger throughout the year. The trio worked together but Veronica wasn't always there for them due to her packed schedule from handling the big company

Vincenzo always sent her a postcard with an island on the cover on every month. She knew that the island was purchased by the man for their adopted family and has been staying there

It's been a while since they met each other face to face. The twins had never separated this long and was hoping to see each other again soon

And back to the present, Veronica was writing and reading some papers that was scattered on the table. With concentration on her face, she didn't realized that someone had barged into her office

"Wah. I never knew that my twin sister would be a chairwoman"

Veronica froze in shock, slowly looking up, staring at the man who just barged into her office. He smiled as the girl stayed on the spot, still not believing what she's witnessing. She sat there with her eyes widened

The man that left her 1 year ago, appeared back without any warning. She dreaded for his presence, voice and hugs
