Hopian 108 Part 2 - The Red Fists

Last chapter, more of how the base of Kodan's group runs was explained. Restroid also was found by King Metallica, and initiated into the group as well since he King wanted a fellow robot to join the group. And now, a year has passed since that day.

Kodan's P.O.V.

Twenty Minutes Later...

"Alright, so remember no catapult." I say to Metallica as me, him, and Restroid walk down our fully lit street towards our gym slash sparring arena. 

It's about eight AM so a lot of people are walking past us and heading to work, whether that be construction or preparing meals for everyone. A lot of people seem happy down here but, with we do have *some* issues concerning jobs. Some people just really don't want to work. But- to fix that, we've recruited some smart people who know a lot about econo... ecolomics? Anyways, they're fixing up the not working issue, and it does seem to be helping. We've even got our own economy going now! Ah that's the word.

"Fine fine I won't whip out the catapult, would be too easy for me to beat you if I did anyways, YASHASHASHA! In all seriousness however you are getting much stronger Kodan, I'm proud of you!" Metallica says which makes me smile. It's always fun training with him.

Anyways, nowadays thanks to buying a fuckton of worker robots, we actually have a lot of small buildings up now, along with a few tents still. It was tricky building on top of the unbreakable Hesalo beneath us but, we've hired some guys who know- and knew how to handle that using advanced tech. 

Hah, thinking about it I guess I finally got my own house after all. Though I'd call this whole base my home, even with all 1324 of us here. And that's with me slowing down a lot on the recruiting, but still more and more people kept rolling in anyways. Go figures, people sure as hell hate the state of this continent.

 Less importantly though, through reading scripture and training, like King mentioned I'm starting to master my gravity defying abilities even more now. I can even lift pieces of Hesalo like they're nothing if I focus enough which is nuts- since even a tiny piece of it can weigh like 200 pounds.

"Kodan. We've got a code red." I can hear Laya whisper as she suddenly walks next to me, she sure can be sneaky when she wants to be.

"Who?" I ask with a frown, we've detected three traitors using her power so far, but it still hurts me every time I hear the news.

"Unis Mont. I just saw his aura being red an hour ago, so I doubt he's done anything yet." I audibly sigh as I hear that, really? He begged for my forgiveness and to be able to join my gang, you know since he ditched me after... Lexin and Cole got killed by the Hopian Army. I didn't even need an apology since that was my fault, and so I let him in right away. And now this?

Haah, nah it's not too big of a deal either way though. We've got policies in place to deal with potential traitors- the first being a "prison" sentence in our building meant for that stuff. Well after some questioning at least. Metallica works as the warden there now, which works as a gift and punishment to the people locked up. Sure they've got someone to raise their spirits and talk to- but ALL the time.

The real hard part's when people plan to screw us over multiple times... which one person did. When I told everyone the guy tried to betray us a third time, a lot of people wanted to just kill him. I can see their reasoning- but I made sure that didn't happen, he's just locked up for good now.

"Alright. Thanks Laya, I'll get our security guys to deal with Unis. Stay safe." I whisper back to her as Metallica starts slowly leaning towards us as well with his big metal ears, and so I take a deep breath- and use my powers to, gently, push him aside as his metal scrapes along the jagged metal beneath us.
