14 - Beachy Delight

Y/n POV:
Today was the day after everyone had arrived, well everyone but Tommy, I was still disappointed he had to cancel so close to the day but I understand that some things are more important than this and his mum being ill is awful news. Niki told me that we were planning on going to the beach today so I looked through my stuff and found my f/b (favourite bikini), it was b/c (bikini colour) and made me feel confident. I made my way to the bathroom and grabbed some towels, I got a couple extra in case someone forgot one, my guess would be Tubbo.

N- Good morning y/n! How did you sleep last night?
Y/n- I sleep alright Niki thank you, would've been nicer if I had someone to share with but i was pretty tired from travelling so fell asleep quite quick, oh morning Wilbur!
W- Morning *yawn* please could you pass me the coffee, I need at least one cup in order to function in the morning.
P- Morning everyone!
N&Y/n- Morning Phil! *laughing*

It was about 9:30 by the time all of us got ready, Jack and Tubbo were the last to be ready but it wasn't really a surprise to any of us. We all bundled into the car with Will and Phil in the front, me and Niki in the middle and Jack and Tubbo in the back. We spent most of the car journey singing our hearts out to whatever song came on the radio, it was nice seeing everyone like this, no streaming, no blogging, just being their true selves and having fun without the pressure. I finally felt like I belonged there, here with these people. Me and Niki didn't have a lot of family left but this made me realise that these people are family, I mean we are a bit chaotic and crazy but that's what made it feel like home, no one really caring or stressing about anything, just us being us.

As we pull up to the beach, we all jump out of the car and run onto the sand. We agreed that we would have a main base where all of our stuff would be and then go off into groups to do our own thing. Me and Niki were going to stick together and our first plan was to build a sand castle, so we grabbed the bucket and spade and started building one, we wanted to make a proper castle, with many towers and a moat around it. It took us around an hour to build our castle but what a castle it was, we both stood back and looked at it with a smile on our face knowing that it was amazing. Our next plan was to go into the water but I noticed something was a bit off with Wilbur, I don't know what exactly but he seemed distanced from us.

Wilbur POV:
Tommy had informed me that he would be here in 5 minutes and his dad was dropping him off, all he talked to me about was how nervous he was to see y/n and how he couldn't wait to see her in person. It was so unusual seeing Tommy act like this but it was nice, him caring so much over a girl made me smile. As I stood there daydreaming I heard someone yell my name in the distance, that's when I snapped back into reality and noticed it was Tommy, he gave me a big hug and as we walked towards the beach I explained my plan to Tommy on how we would surprise y/n.

Y/n POV:
I saw Wilbur walk away from us all onto the beach promenade, that's when I knew something was up, "hey y/n! Let's go into the water!" Niki cheered at me, I ran over to her chuckling as seeing her excitement for going in the water made me happy, this was something we had never done before as in Germany we had never really left Berlin. We jumped into the water and started splashing around, screaming and laughing at each other as we splashed the water at one another. That's when someone grabs me from behind and chucks me into the water, I scream as I hit the water confused as to who that was. That's when I emerge out of the water and turn to see Tommy laughing at me, a range of emotions hit me at once, but the most prominent was joy, I can't believe he was actually there, in front of me. I leaped towards him engulfing him in a hug, it lasted a long time as neither of us wanted to let go, "hi" Tommy muffles into my shoulder, I responded back with a "hey" as we stepped away from each other. Now this trip really did feel complete.
