16 - Skating on Ice

Y/n POV:
I woke up at 7 to Tommy yawning, we were in the same position that we had fallen asleep in - his arms wrapped around me with my head snuggled into his chest. I went to get up to to change and get ready for the day but instead I was pulled back down onto the bed by Tommy, making me squeal much louder than either of us expected, that made both of us burst out laughing. That's when Niki came running into the room panicking as she thought someone was hurt. We had to explain while trying not to burst out laughing, again, that we were ok and it was Tommys fault for me screaming but no one was hurt.

Eventually Tommy let me go, that was after he informed me that he had booked Ice Skating for the two of us at 9 which only gave me about an hour to get ready, so I hopped into the shower and listened to some music. I got changed into a simple outfit of ripped jeans, a baggy black AC/DC band tee and an oversized hoodie, Tommy was wearing his usual shirt and some jeans. We informed Niki and Wilbur of our plan and Wilbur kindly offered to drive us there which we gratefully accepted as otherwise it would've taken us double the amount of time to get there. We all hopped in the car at around 8:30 as we needed to get there earlier in order to find skates our size and actually put them on, it was a mission as Tommy couldn't find any of his size so we needed assistance finding them, turns out they were right in front of him, he was just being a bit of a numpty.

Tommy was not the best at skating to say the least, he spent most of the time holding on to the side and the rest of it gripping on to me which I found quite ironic considering he was the one who wanted to do this yet he's been doing a reenactment of Bambi for the majority of it. He did try to skate on his own but fell over within 30 seconds, it was entertaining to watch but he was not pleased at all, I had to rub his hands with my hands (which had gloves on) and he wasn't wearing gloves so his got quite cold from touching the bare ice.

At the end of the skating when we had about five minutes left I pulled Tommy over to the side, I knew this would be the perfect time to tell him how I truly feel, "look Tommy I-", "I like you" he blurted out of nowhere. It took me by surprise and left me speechless - he had the same idea as me, this was his plan all along.
