The entire entourage headed over to i-Heart Radio in a train of cars.

Jane was required to help them settle into the studio, which was a feat because as the car drove into the lot, there was a crowd of American ARMY outside. Jane found herself clenching the strap of her bag as the van came to a stop in the parking lot. She pulled the mask from her bag - she'd been keeping it close at hand ever since the airport. It was on her face before Eunjin slid open the van door.

Sejin waited for her to approach before speaking to the producer who had come out of a side door of the venue to greet them. After quick introductions Jane translated the instructions and the crew quickly followed them.

Jane had never been inside a place like this before, though to be fair this wasn't her normal environment. She wondered if this place was anything like the Music Show studios.

They took residence in the green room, - like there was an actual sign on the door that said Green Room. It took less then five minutes for everyone other then Jane to settle. The Unnies were setting up a makeup corner, the camera crew were already prepping behind the scenes shooting and the managers were checking the room and corralling the members. Jane watched as a small powwow developed between the members and the managers in the center of the room.

It was like a little bubble that drew all the oxygen from the room, or the central axis of a globe, the universe revolving around it. Jane stood stock still in that moment as though she had intruded on something, or become a witness to something that she wasn't supposed to, like those camera crews on David Attenborough who are told not to interfere in the natural course of life.

Her name causes Jane to blink and she finds faces turned on her. Sejin repeats her name, urging her toward them - They wanted her included in this?

She slowly approached, "Jane, you should listen too." Sejin told her, so she quickly moved closer standing between Sejin and Manager Hobeom.

Jane felt a pair of eyes land on her. Taehyung. Jane had finished all three bubble teas before the van even parked, the bag empty in her hand. He'd noticed, judging by the small smile on his face.

"Remember to watch your words boys." Sejin said returning his attention to the band members.

Watch their words? Don't they always do that?

Namjoon must have caught the expression on her face because he then spoke up. "Jimmy is pre-recorded so they have control over what is edited out. But this is a live audience. Who carry camera phones. Anything we say can be misconstrued as something else and uploaded to YouTube by the end of the night, simply because the interviewer asked who is our favourite kpop band."

Jane was aware of what a simple answer can do to a member. She'd seen the conspiracy videos on YouTube. She'd bore witness to the shipping wars since the beginning.

But her members weren't thinking of those. Jane could see the guilty looks on her soulmates faces, even the one that wasn't looking at her. They were all thinking of the soulmate question from the train. Something like that cannot happen tonight.

"Would it help if the studio were aware of what can and cannot be asked?"

Manager Hobeom answered. "That was all in the guide we sent them."

Jane nodded. "I know." She paused taking them all in, wondering if this is her place to speak. "I mean no offence, but there is a difference in cultures - between yours and mine, at least most English speaking countries. I had to educate myself when I first started listening to kpop wondering why - " Jane paused - educating herself on why idols don't date. "Certain things were never talked about."
