"Lady y/n, we must leave." Thor sympathised with your pain, even though he and Loki had a difficult relationship the past couple of years, they were still brothers and Loki meant the world to him.

You were sat on the dusty surface of Svartalfheim with the motionless prince in your arms. Hot streaks of tears stained your face and wouldn't stop falling. You had been in this position for the past 5 minutes but knew you would be grieving for much longer. The worst thing was the regret that was blossoming in the dark pit of your stomach. You wanted to be around Loki all of the time. You wanted to get to know him better. You wanted more time with him. You wanted more time to watch your feelings flower but before the buds even flourished they turned black and died along with the god of mischief.

Maybe this is a trick. Maybe it's not real.

A storm was brewing and you knew it would be a mistake to get caught in it. As much as you didn't want to leave Loki, you had to. You gently kissed his forehead and took your leave.

You, Thor and Jane fought through the storm and stumbled across a cave where you took shelter from the howling winds.

"He's going to unleash it. Not just on Asgard or on a star, Malekith is going to destroy everything." Jane fretted.

"How? Jane, how?" The god of thunder questioned.

"I saw him on Earth. Why would he go to Earth?" She queried in response.

"The convergence." Thor muttered.

"Oh god. None of this would have happened if-" Jane was cut off by 'Stayin Alive' coming from your pocket...

- Yes, Moriarty had chosen your ringtone and honestly you weren't mad at it.

"Do you mind if I get that?" you asked pulling out your phone. The two of them just looked at you clueless. Thor confused because of the music and Jane because of the signal. Soon after she got a phone call too but you answered your phone delighted to see it was Tony.

'Hey y/n, how's it going?' He greeted on the other end of the line.

"Hello Tony." you replied, attempting to sound cheery and keeping it short so that he wouldn't notice you had been crying. "I'm fine. Do you need something? Now's not a great time."

'Well, I'm here with Banner and I really needed to get some stuff off my chest but he was actively napping-' you then heard Bruce in the background,

'I did tell you I'm not that kind of doctor. I'm not a therapist. It's not my training. I don't have the-'

'What, time?' Tony cut him off.

'Temperament' Banner responded, the bickering brought a smile to your face.

'Anyway Pom-Poirot, you're smart. Aren't you a doctor too? I know you went to Cambridge. Wow. How'd you fancy popping over to NYC? You can teach Banner here a thing or two about paying attention! What time is it in London anyway?'

"I don't know, I'm away at the moment." you explained. Maybe you should go and visit New York. It would be a good distraction from the madness and Stark knew how to bring a smile to your face.

You heard Jane mutter, "How am I getting service here?" You weren't an expert on how spacey weird things worked but you guessed you were closer to home than the three of you expected.

'That'll explain the chaos. You truly are the only thing that keeps that city spinning.' Tony answered.

"Chaos? What chaos?" you dreaded to think what Moriarty had done.

'Where even are you? It's all over the news.'

"Why are there so many shoes in here?" Thor asked and Jane led the way out of the cave and back to London.

'Is that Thor?' you heard Banner ask a distance from the phone.

"Listen, I'm going to have to call you back. Bye." you spoke and quickly hung up the phone absorbing the freshly polluted air.

Jane and Thor got into a car with all it's windows shot out. "You coming y/n?" Jane asked.

"No, I'll find my own way back. See you round." you responded and walked towards the road to hunt down a cab or some other way back to your flat. Hopefully you would have the place to yourself. Sometimes Moriarty goes to his country-side mansions, to be honest you have no idea why the two of you share the flat. It's probably something to do with keeping enemies close.

You were in Greenwich. Approximately 6.7 miles away from where you lived and every Brit knows that getting from one side of London to the other costs no more than your entire life savings and first born child so you were pretty much screwed.

You decided to walk as far as you could before you got scared, stole a car or fell asleep.
