Chapter 2: The Offering

We have arrived at the palace and it was huge, I feel like peeing my pants but I won't embarrass myself

"I hope one of you get lucky" Some of the vampires snickered and I glared at them

"Fuck you!" One of the girls shouted and their red eyes shifted to her

This is why I kept my mouth shut

"Grab her"

The leader ordered and dragged the crying girl who's shoutung for mercy. Oh mah lord

"The rest of them, drag them inside the palace. The Empress is waiting"

I felt a shudder as soon as I heard Empress coming out of his mouth, we were dragged one by one

In a harsh way, seriously my back is killing me right now. We entered the palace and I stared at the interior with an amazed expression

"Uhm, is the Empress scary?" I asked the one of the vampires and he stared at me like I was dirt

"Don't you dare say something without permission, we're inside the palace so keep your mouth shut, human"

He muttered and I gulped and just proceeded to walk silently, I then saw Michaela walking while glaring at the vampires

"Am I going to die-"

He covered my mouth once we entered the big door and my eyes widen when I saw a tall woman sitting on the throne

I sat on my throne as I stared at the females that they choose to offer to me, so I'll just choose one from this pitiful ladies?

They look like they'd ran the moment I begin to talk, or show my fangs... maybe

"Your Highness, we present to you. The offerings"

One of them spoke and I stared at him from head to toe, he was trembling under my stare

"Did I, ordered you to speak?" I asked and crossed my legs

He immediately went on his knees and I stared at him coldly

"Your Highness, please forgive me for speaking without your permission!"

He apologized and I just chuckled

"Again, greet me" I muttered and he stood up

"Greetings to the sun of the Empire, Your Highness Anastasia Vinogradov"

They bowed and I hummed and signaled my assistant to start this useless event

"You may now start" He spoke and he began making the women said their names and blah blah blah

I'm not interested, there's only one woman I'm interested in and she's gone

It was now the last and I sighed in relief, finally. I need to rest since Natasha is giving me an headache

She's trouble and I the big sister, do the best that I can to fix it

My eyes went wide in surprise, I examined her face and she didn't look exactly like the woman I love
