Chapter 18: Can I Court You?

Anastasia POV

I booked the most expensive restaurant just for her and here I am waiting at my table patiently

"Miss would you like champagne?" The waiter asked holding an expensive one

"Yes please, two of them" I replied with a small smile

"I'll be right back, please excuse me" The waiter politely excused himself and I glance at the door

My body froze and a blush spread all over my cheeks when I saw Y/n entering the restaurant wearing a simple yet beautiful dress

I stood up from my chair and kissed her cheeks

"Dearest, I'm glad you made it" I smiled softly and she blushed while smiling

Me being a gentlewoman, I pulled the chair so she can sit down and she mumbled a small thank you

"I've already ordered two champagne and a steak for you"

Her face lits up once I mentioned steak, Y/n always wanted to taste steak in expensive restaurants

It's cute to see her excited about food

"Your champagne" Y/n turned to the waiter as he poured us a glass of champagne 

"Enjoy ladies" The waiter left and I held my glass and motioned to Y/n to clink glasses

"Cheers dearest" She mumbled a small cheer and we clinked our glass. She took a sip and she gave me a thumbs up

"Is it to your liking?" I asked a little nervous and she let out a laugh

"Honestly, I'm a little uncomfortable because of this fancy smancy restaurant. I just prefer us alone... well I like this too so don't worry!"

She grinned and I stood up then whispered something

"Grab that bottle of champagne and let's run"

She unconsciously grabbed the bottle of champagne and I immediately picked her up and ran out of the restaurant

"Anastasia! Did we just leave without paying?!" Y/n shouted cutely and I just shrugged my shoulders

I already paid for it tho

"Don't worry about that, why don't we drink in my favorite place?"

I asked with a smile and she nods her head and leaned her head on my chest

"Hold on tight then" I mumbled and ran with my vampiric speed and Y/n's hold on me tightened

"Holy cow! This is amazing!" She shouted

We were on top of my palace and it has a really good view of the Empire. I know it's beautiful

"So this is your favorite place?" She asked and I hummed in response

"This is the place that only I can enter, cool isn't it-"

All of a sudden she held my shoulders then pressed her soft lips against mine, I grabbed her waist and kissed back resulting her to smile

Those butterflies that I felt in the past came back in an instant, it felt so good and so amazing

Our lips were moving in sync and my heart was beating so fast

When the air was a problem for the both of us, we pulled away smiling

"I like you Anastasia" She mumbled

"I don't want to be in a relationship without knowing that person thoroughly. Do you think you can do that?"

She asked grinning

"I like you too, Y/n Monroe can I court you!?"
