Song Theme: Midnight Syndicate- The Drawing Room
Emmanuel's POV.
"My dear boy, we have to talk." Elder Gutknecht said, putting the book on the table. "Let me tell him, please. Let tell him." Maggot begged, chuckled as he appeared from the page. "What?" I curiously asked. "There is a complication with your marriage." Elder Gutknecht explained. "I don't understand." I confused, not getting what he saying. "The vows are binding only until death do you part." He replied. "What are you saying?" I asked.
"Death has already parted you." He replied. I gasped and worried if something happen to Charlotte when I'm gone but I realized something from my memories. "But we made a promise to each other, she would never leave me." I told him. "That's true you and Charlotte made a promise when you both were young but you did broke the promise to her while she kept hers." Elder Gutknecht pointed out. "Dammit, I forgot about that!" My thoughts frustrated. "So it's more like my punishment not only break Charlotte's heart but more price to pay worse than death." I muttered.
"If you haven't broken your promise, you wouldn't be here, would you?" He made a point, I wasn't please his words. "Is there another way?" I asked, changing the subject. "Well, there is one way." He replied, flipping through pages of book. "Oh, please, please, let me tell him" Maggot still begging. "Order to refix your promises and vows, it requires the great sacrifice." He added, still give me confuse. "Go on, get to the good part." Maggot begged with excitement mood. "What is it?" I curiously exclaimed. "We have to kill her!" Maggot happily announced.
