(Bonejangles Song: Remains Of Day)

3rd POV.

"Hit it Boys." Bonejangles pointed at the rest of the skeletons crew and the music started.

Bonejangles
🎵Hey!
Give me a listen, you corpses of cheer.
Least less of you who still got an ear,
I'll tell 'ya a story, make your skeleton cry,
of our own judiciously lovely corpse groom.
Die, die we all pass away, but don't wear a frown 'cuz it's really okay.
You might try n' hide, and you might try n' pray,
but we all end up the remains of the day.
Die die die yeah yeah, die die die.
Well! Our boy was a beauty known for miles around.
When a mysterious stranger came into town.
She was plenty good lookin' but down on her cash,
and our poor little baby he fell hard and fast,
when his daddy said no, he just couldn't cope,
so our lovers came up with a plan to elope.

Die, die we all pass away, but don't wear a frown 'cuz it's really okay.
You might try n' hide, and you might try n' pray,
but we all end up the remains of the day.

Die die die yeah yeah,
die die die yeah yeah
die die die yeah yeah
die die die yeah yeah
That's right.
Okay.
Oh, yeah.
Come on, boys, pick it up.
Yeah.
Like it.
Okay, Chancy, take it.
Yeah.
Yeah!
Oh that's nice

Yeah, so they conjured up a plan to meet late at night,
they told not a soul kept the whole thing tight.
Now his father's wedding suit fit like a glove,
you don't need much when you're really in love.
Except for a few things or so I'm told,
like the family jewels and a satchel of gold.
Then next to the graveyard by the old oak tree,
on a dark foggy night at a quarter to three,
he was ready to go, but where was she?

He waited
(And then?) There in the shadows, was it his woman?
(And then?) His little heart beat sooo loud!
(And THEN?) And then baby, everything went black.

Now when he opened his eyes, he was dead as dust, his jewels were missin' and his heart was bust, so he made a vow lyin' under that tree
that he'd wait for his true love to come set him free.
Always waitin' for someone to ask for his hand, when outta the blue comes this groovy young woman, who vows forever, to be by his side, and that's the story of our own, corpse groom

Die, die we all pass away, but don't wear a frown 'cuz it's really okay.
You might try n' hide, and you might try n' pray,
but we all end up the remains of the day.
Yeah🎵

Charlotte's POV.
Once the song was about to end I found the stairs and walked out of here without getting noticed.

Corpse Groom POV.

"I don't think it really called for a song." I said in flattered tone till I realized something is missing. "Charlotte?" I called out till I realized Charlotte disappeared. I'm getting worried about her. I need to find her or else she'll get lost and hurt.

Victor's POV.
I was starring at the window hoping Charlotte would come back and I'm worried about her. "Victor, come away from the window." Mother instructed and I walked away from the window. "Oh, I'm sure she'll be back shortly." Mrs. Vandort said. "She's terrified of the dark. In fact when she was a girl, she used to wet her combinations regularly, didn't she, William?" Mrs. Vandort asked her husband and nudged him. He was about to answer but got interrupted by a knock on the door. "Enter." Father ordered. The door opened to reveal Lady Barkis. "Ah Lady Barkis, I trust the room is to your liking." My mother said. "Thank you, you are a most gracious hostess." She thanked. "Which is why it pains me to be the bearer of such bad news." She continued and leaned down to my father. She snapped her fingers as the town crier came in. "Would you care to repeat tonight's headline for us?" She asked the town crier. "Hear ye , hear ye , Charlotte Van Dort seen this night on the bridge in the arms of a mystery man! The dark-haired tempter and Mistress Van Dort slipped away into the night. And now, the weather. Scattered showers..." He said but cut off. "Enough! That will be all." Lady Barkis said and the town crier left. "Mystery man? She doesn't even know any men!" Mrs. Van Dort defended. "Or so you thought." Lady Barkis said. "Do call for me if you need my assistance...in any way." She said as she left. There's something suspicious about Lady Barkis that I don't like. "Good heavens, Finis, what should we do?" Mother asked Father. "Fetch me musket." Father ordered. "William, do something." Mrs. Van Dort yelled at Mr. Van Dort. "Umm...the town crier probably just had a slow news day. You know how it is, you need a little something to cry about." Mr. Van Dort came up with an excuse after he grab the musket away from Emil and place it back on top the fireplace shelf. "Regardless, we are one bride short for the wedding tomorrow. Not to mention the financial implications." Father said. "A most scandalous embarrassment for us all." Mother yelled. "Oh, give us a chance to find her, we beg of you. Just give us till dawn!" Mrs. Van Dort begged. "Very well. Till dawn." Mother said. I hope they do find her, I'm really worried about her. She's cute when she gets embarrassed and shy easily, but when she plays the piano so beautiful my heart beats so fast and my feelings felt strange. I think I'm in love with her even though we just met not long ago but it's more like love at first sight. I want her as my bride and to be with her for the rest of my life.
