Charlotte and Emmanuel went to her house since her parents still hasn't come back yet for searching for her. They have a loving moments together, dancing and the loving moments for their first time. The next day, they came to Emmanuel's parents home to explained them about Emmanuel's disappearances and Victor's death. It didn't go well when Emmanuel's parents didn't believe them and disapprove Charlotte and Emmanuel's marriage.

So Emmanuel decided to tell them straight up about his decision and not dealing with them anymore. Emmanuel received a letter from the will of the Barkis since Lady Barkis death as they came to her mansion. They looked around and found all the money and family jewelries belongs to Emmanuel and the other victims husband Lady Barkis married to. "You and Victor weren't the only ones she married to." Charlotte said, looking at all the collections Lady Barkis kept.

They both decided to give back the money to the others who Lady Barkis stole it to and rebuild the house as their own. Emmanuel send the letter with the money and jewels back to his parents to save them from the poorhouse. One day Charlotte's parents finally found her as she and Emmanuel explained the situation along with their marriage.
