"Caspian, we're here." Edmund abruptly opened the door to the cabin, seizing all the laughter that was bouncing off the walls. His questioning eyes darted from the king on the floor to the two girls beside him.

By then, the tickling charm had worn off and Caspian managed to stop laughing, gathering what was left of his dignity and getting off the floor. "Ehem. Alright, let's go then."

A frown settled on the Just king's face. "What are all of you doing in here?"

Natalia shot Lucy a panicked look, the girl immediately becoming tense. "Nothing. Nothing at all." Lucy laughed nervously, walking past Edmund and out the door.

Edmund turned his gaze to the Nymph queen, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion before shaking his head and leaving after his sister.

"Ed." Natalia called out but her words leaving his ears as soon as they were heard. She couldn't help but let out a troubled sigh, looking down at her lap quietly.

"It looks like night has fallen. How do you feel about getting your mind off things on solid land?" Caspian asked after looking out the window where the sun was setting.

Natalia couldn't help but let out a huff, flopping herself on his chair like a starfish, her arms wide apart at each side of her.

"Look, even though you can't tell him the truth, you can always... omit certain truths to him." The goofy king shot her a sly smile.

"Wouldn't it hurt him even more if he finds out?"

"You wouldn't exactly be lying to him. He has no reason to get mad at you then." Caspian grabbed onto Natalia's arms, pulling her off the chair. "Come on, maybe the sandy beach would clear your mind."

The girl sighed, pulling herself up with the help of her friend. "I suppose you're right." The two walked off of the ship together, where the rest of the crew was waiting.

The island before them was empty, the only living things in sight were some still trees located deeper into the island. The only sounds they heard were the heavy breathing of the crew and the soft crashing of the waves.

"It looks uninhabited," Edmund stated, breaking the silence. "But if the lords followed the mist east, they would have stopped here."

Captain Drinian grumbled, "It could be a trap."

"Or it could hold some answers." Reepicheep suggested. "Caspian?" The young queen asked, causing everyone to look towards the pondering king.

He looked up at the dark sky, before slowly analyzing the area. "We'll spend the night onshore. Scour the island in the morning."

"Aye, your majesty." And with that, everyone set off to lay out the sleeping bags.

Caspian looked at Natalia expectantly only for her to gesture to the two clueless sons of Adams. "Ed, can you and Eustace go up to the boat and grab some blankets."

Edmund nodded at Caspian before dragging his whining cousin by the arm up the boat. Once she saw that they were out of her line of sight, she took out her wand and pointed to the center of the temporary campsite. "Incendio." She chanted, an orange spark shooting out of her wand, lighting the ground on fire.

"That'll never cease to amaze me." Reep praised, causing a light blush to creep on the witch's face. She blew on the tip of her wand playfully.

Drinian shot Natalia a smile before pointing his thumb at the ship. "The lads are coming back." The statement itself caused Natalia to fumble her wand around, nearly dropping it multiple times before shoving it deep in her boots.
