Scott shoves himself against the front door, pulling and pushing at it with all his might to try to get it open. The handle didn't seem to be budging however as his fingers fumble around it. The woman, Lenore, was stood in the dining room arch, gaping and yet again forcing them back against the wall.

"Scott, open the door, you're a werewolf." Malia chastises, keeping her eyes on the woman in front of them.

"I'm trying!" the alpha argues. Isaac and Malia didn't have the patience though as they moved to the windows, the latter trying to punch at it to break it while he tried to tug it open, unsuccessfully.

Malia lets out a grunt and steps away. "What the hell is wrong with this place?"

"Lenore, we're sorry if we offended you. It really wasn't our intention." Venus steps forward, trying to move the attention away from the hotheaded werewolves.

"Could you unlock the door, please?" Lydia catches on, speaking softly to the crazed woman.

Lenore shakes her head, tears filling her eyes and Venus couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the woman. "Now that you're here, you need to stay. Caleb likes you."

"Who the fuck is Caleb?" Isaac frustratedly whispers between their little circle.

Lydia rolls her eyes and moves closer to Lenore. "And we like him but we need to help our town. People are disappearing, leaving, I mean leaving. You could really help us."

"No one can help you." she shakes her head again. "If they want to leave, they're going to leave. They'll go, and they'll go and there won't be anything you can do about it."

Venus was growing increasingly frustrated by that point and any sympathy she had was thrown out the window. This woman wasn't going to help them and every minute more they spent here was one minute less looking for Stiles.

"Come with me." a distorted voice comes from behind them, startling the four remaining teens stood by the front door. Caleb. Isaac puts a protective arm out in front of Venus as he eyes the kid suspiciously.

Lydia nudges her head, signaling at them to go and so they did. The little boy with the bowl cut lead them down the hallway and seemingly disappeared at a door at the end of it. Scott glances at his friends warily, a silent warning to be on guard, and pushes the door open gently.

Caleb was stood in the center of the dim room, a fuzzy TV screen next to him on one side and a table with two chairs and a spread out board game on his other. The pack steps down the stairs, Venus immediately taking notice of their dampness and stepping onto the floor, they notice the puddle of water covering its entire surface.

Scott spots a window to their left and moves over to it, he rattles the handle a couple times before dropping his hands back down with a huff. Being the most sensible out of the four of them in that moment, Venus steps towards the kid.

"Hey, Caleb." she speaks softly. "We are looking for one of our friends and we need to get out of here to find him. Can you help us?"

He doesn't reply, turning around and grabbing a VHS tape, putting it in the player and sitting down in front of the fuzzy screen. The view changes, the TV now playing a video with the date of august 1985 on the bottom. The strange thing was, Caleb looked exactly the same in the video as he did in front of them in that moment.

"You have to stay because mommy said so." Caleb finally replies, his gaze unloving from the screen in front of him.

Venus moves closer to Caleb again. "But we can't stay, we have to go home."
