after y/n finished blowing the inflatables up she nailed them down to the roof while trying to ignore kobe until she hit her hand and let out a small yell shaking it over and over again seeing it was bruising slowly so kobe grabbed it looking down then back up at her

Kobe: want me to wrap it then i can finish it for you
Y: no i'm fine
Kobe: you're not fine sit here and i'll be back

kobe climbed down the ladder going to his house and getting things to wrap her hand while she sat crisscross on the top of the roof waiting when he came back he grabbed her hand and started wrapping it once he finished he kissed her hand and she pulled it away rolling her eyes while he smiled and finished nailing it down for her once he was done he sat in front of her

Y: what
Kobe: none it's just it's night out
Y: yea i see that
Kobe: just us two up here
Y: yup
Kobe: with these pretty lights
Y: ok
Kobe: and these beautiful stars
Y: mhm
Kobe: a beautiful girl a beautiful scenery what could happen

when y/n said that kobes facial expression changed and he looked at y/n spacing out once he felt a tear fall down his cheek he sniffled and quickly wiped it going to the ladder and climbing down while y/n tried to call him back but he walked off so she took a deep breath sighing and laying on her back looking up at the stars and holding her hand that was wrapped then she climbed down the ladder going to his house walking in and going in his room seeing him sitting on his patio smoking and listening to music when she walked out there she sat down in the chair next to him and he looked at her revealing his blood shot eyes then he turned his head away rolling his eyes and putting it out then getting up going back in his room and walking to the door until y/n called his name and he over exaggeratedly sighed turning around

Y: i'm sorry
Kobe: no need to apologize you told me how you felt it's ok
Y: kobe i didn't mean that i was just mad
Kobe: you don't have to lie to try and make me feel better i'll leave you alone
Y: i don't want you to leave me alone
Kobe: but if i don't you'll only hate me more so i'm good
Y: kobe
Kobe: y/n i'm serious it's fine ok i'm grown i'm not gonna keep messing with you if you hate me this way you get what you want i'll finally stay away and i'll just hold on to the lie that you still love me
Y: i'll always love you kobe
Kobe: i said you don't need to lie
Y: i'm not lying kobe i could give zero fucks if you're sad but what i said was fucked up and i don't mean it because yes i love you i always will i'm just not in love with you and the love i have for you is hard to explain it's like i love and hate when you're around i love you as if we're dating but i love you as a friend
Kobe: what
Y: exactly it's confusing as fuck that's why i don't know what to feel yes i'm sorry but i don't want to be with you probably ever again but i still care about you and i'm sorry i said what i did because i sounded like a complete bitch
Kobe: i said it's fine y/n ok you don't hate me you have some confusing love for me it's fine i'm serious now go i'm gonna chill downstairs and watch a movie
Y: i feel like you're still mad
Kobe: i was never mad i don't cry because i'm mad

y/n started walking to the door and when she walked out the room she walked towards the stairs but just stood there watching kobe close the door so she walked all the way downstairs to the door about to open it until she sighed turning back around and going back up the stairs knocking on his door once he opened it she looked at him seeing his eyes were watering and she just kissed him he hesitated at first but he kissed her back after they stood there for a while he picked her up closing the door behind them hours past and y/n went back home going into her room and plopping face down on her bed then a few
minutes later jano came in sitting next to her

Jano: what's wrong...is it kobe
Y: mmm
Jano: what did he do...or did you do some
Y: mhm
Jano: was it bad...good
Y: mmm mhm
Jano: did you kiss him
Y: mhm
Jano: was that it
Y: m m
Jano: did y'all...

jano laughed making y/n smile then she turned her head looking at him

Jano: do you like him again
Y: not really
Jano: would you date him again
Y: hell no
Jano: sounds like you in a situationship
