Talyeh: but if he don't know and no one ever tells him then it won't hurt
Jale: everything comes to the light sooner or later wether you want to try and hide it or not someone other than us is gonna find out and they're gonna tell it

when they heard kobes voice all of their eyes shot towards the door revealing him and jaiden making her heart rapidly start racing

Y: nothing we're just talking about how i wanted to wish you a happy birthday
Kobe: look who remembered

y/n got up giving kobe a hug and while he hugged her back she looked at jaiden who was looking back at her until she broke eye contact and pulled away

Y: so what are we doing today
Kobe: i don't know jaiden is running today so any questions speak to him i don't want to know but i will be downstairs raiding your pantry so meet me down there jaiden stay here and talk to her
Jaiden: ok man
Kobe: come downstairs when y'all finish i'm excited
Y: alright

kobe walked downstairs and the girls left with him even though y/n whispered for them to stay once they were gone jaiden closed the door and stood directly in front of her not even a foot away

Jaiden: we have three options
Y: and what's those
Jaiden: tell him-

Jaiden: keep this going or keep it a secret

before y/n could finish jaiden put his hands on her face just looking at her and she looked back then as soon as he leaned in he started making out with her and for a while she did the same until he reached his hand under her shirt and she pulled it out then moved back

Y: no not on his birthday
Jaiden: he won't know he thinks we're talking and the door is locked it'll stay between us
Y: jaiden can't you see that this is wrong
Jaiden: if it's so wrong then why'd you kiss me back

Jaiden: because it feels right we should give us a chance we're perfect for each other
Y: some people are just off limits like your ex's best friend or your best friends ex
Jaiden: no ones off limits when you're trying to find the one

jaiden took his shirt off then kissed y/n again this time she pulled away and backed up just looking at him

Y: jaiden-
Jaiden: are you scared to let us happen
Y: jaiden you're a great friend but there isn't a us
Jaiden: there's is an us you just have to be willing to give it a chance y/n
Y: how can you stand here and say all of this after knowing me and kobes history
Jaiden: because yes y'all have history but kobe has moved on y/n and you seem to be the only one still holding onto to this nonexistent relationship let it go
Y: i know what me and kobe had is over but that doesn't mean i move on to his best friend
