"So you keep saying" I stare at the small brunette that is sat next to me, her feet so far off the ground she almost looks like a child and wonder how it's possible for anyone to be so annoying

I take another drink and then begin looking around forming a list of my own

She clenches her teeth and forces a mouthful of water down her throat before turning her back on me

I see something in her face change as she takes another sip of water and then chews on her nail "Probably no one" she says quietly and I realise then the effect her ex boy has had on her self esteem and decide to add changing that to the lesson plan
