*Yume's POV*
That was least unexpected.
Coming back to life right after I died, I mean.
I woke up, feeling grumpy as ever, Konoha was in even worse condition than I have left it in. Well, I died in an Akatsuki invasion so that isn't surprising.
As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Ino hugging me so tight to the point I couldn't even breathe.
And breathing is something needed if someone just literally came back to life.
"Ino...I can't breathe..." I mumbled, making her gasp in shock
"YUME-?! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Ino cried, hugging me even tighter
"I appreciate your concern but I beg you...let me breathe.." I spoke, desperately gasping for air then she let go
"What happened? I was shocked when I saw you lying dead on the floor...Did Pain actually...kill you?" Ino asked sadly then I sighed, sitting up properly
"It was sudden, I didn't have time to hone my sharingan. The toll it took on me when I had to use it right after I transplanted these eyes made me unable to fight to the fullest" I said looking down to my bruised hands
"What do you mean by you transplanted your eyes..?"
"Exactly as it sounds."
"I-"
"Anyways, I highly doubt that I am the only one who was resurrected out of all the people who died"
"Because you aren't. Everyone who died came back to life somehow" she stated with a tone of confusion in her voice
"I just hope the Akatsuki don't catch Naruto" I sighed then Ino rubbed her head
"Naruto....stopped Pain..." She laughed sheepishly
"Huh-"
"I'M GONNA BE THE HOKAGE DATTEBAYO!"
That 12 year old kid....grew up and managed to defeat Pain while Itachi and I couldn't?!
"I beg your pardon-?"
"You don't believe me? Then come, let's go see it ourselves. He's coming back after confronting the original" Ino said grabbing my hands and pulling me up until I was on my feet
"INO I'M SURE YOU DO REALIZE THAT I HAVE JUST COME BACK FROM THE DEAD WHICH MEANS MY LEGS AREN'T FUNCTIONING PROPERLY-" I yelled at her but she just put on a huge grin and started running
-Time Skip-
How wonderful.
Tsunade-sama was in a coma.
That meant I was the Hokage until she woke up
Sounds pretty normal, I know. Because it was.
Sakura and Ino and almost all the other medical ninjas in the village were treating the injured citizens, the genin and chunin were helping rebuild the village with a few jonin, and the rest of the jonin were out on missions or guarding the perimeter of the village.
And I, a jonin who mainly handles long term missions, had nothing to do, and so I chose to help Shizune.
We had no idea when Tsunade-sama would wake up, and unfortunately, this was the time I needed her most.
A ninja from Kumo came with a letter for her, so I had to explain the situation
"The Hokage is in a coma?!"
"Unfortunately, yes"
"If it's uncertain when she will regain consciousness the interim Hokage will do. Someone must read the letter and give me a reply! The Raikage cannot wait" the Kumo shinobi said
"I am the interm Hokage, I will accept the letter on her behalf" I stated
"Are you sure you are? You look rather young to be one" she said which made me grow an irk mark, but then Danzo walked in all of a sudden
"That woman is no longer the Hokage. I am the new sixth Hokage. I will look at the letter" Danzo said as my eyes widened
Kumo's messenger handed Danzo the letter and he started reading it
"And? Your reply?" She asked
"Uchiha Sasuke is officially a rogue ninja. You can do whatever you want with him" Danzo said
I got up and tried to punch Danzo in the face but was stopped by his guards who held me back
"I SWEAR TO ITACHI! IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY BROTHER I WILL KILL YOU ON THE SPOT YOU ONE EYED ASSHOLE!" I yelled then Shizune pulled me away from the guards
"Yume, calm down!" Shizune-san yelled then I yanked myself away from Danzo's guards and clicked my tongue. Before I left the tent, I stopped right next to Danzo, giving him the deadliest glare I have, "I'll kill you"
I went back home enraged, who the hell does that mummy think he is??
He already has one foot in the grave, but he still chooses to get in my way.
'Calm down and it'll be okay. Nii-san, calm me down. Only immature people don't control their emotions. Immature people'
"fhhhhhhhhhhh fghhh" I groaned
I perked up as soon as I noticed Anbu Black Ops members' presence, they watching me from the shadows of the trees outside of my window. I slowly wiped the dust off of a picture frame, also secretly doing the hand seals for a jutsu
"Fire Style: Hell" I muttered then all the Anbu were sucked into the trees they were on into fire. I waited for a few seconds before they came out burned
I walked up to one of them, "Who sent you?"
They stayed silent.
"Who sent you?" I repeated angrily
Still no response.
"Tch-!" I clicked my tongue then walked away. The Anbu Black Ops never utter a word, and I can't use force to make them speak since they are also Konoha's ninjas
I sighed then looked back at the picture frame I just had in hand then smiled, "Seriously...What an idiot"
I put it down and smiled at the picture of me and Sasuke messing around before the chunin exams. I wore my hidden leaf cloak and left Konoha, leaving a clone behind in my place to avoid suspicion for as long as possible.
According to the information I got from Aika gave me, the five kage summit is in the Land of Iron which is a bit far so I have to move quickly
