*Yume's POV*
"Well, then. What do we do now?" The Tsuchikage asked
"We have to form an Allied Shinobi Force. It's the only way to counter the power of seven Bijuu" Gaara said as I walked away from them
"Uchiha, where do you think you're going?!" The Raikage yelled
"That's none of your business." I scowled in disgust which surely pissed him off
"Yume, why are you even here?" Gaara asked
"I came to keep an eye on Danzo, though I planned to kill him on his way back to Konoha" I stated, leaving everyone in the room silent
"What? Why would you kill your Hokage?" The Mizukage asked
"It's a personal grudge, don't take it too seriously. Since Tsunade-sama is in a coma, we had no choice but to send him"
"The Hokage is in a coma?!" The Mizukage shouted in surprise and I nodded
"But usually when the Hokage is unavailable you're the one who fills in for her, so why?"
"Uchiha Yume, inform Konoha about what Danzo did here, will you? He completely lost all of our trust" The Tsuchikage said
"I believe that we should consider Yume the Hokage until Tsunade wakes up" Temari stated which took me by surprise
"What are you saying?! Her brother took my arm and she was aiding him!" The Raikage yelled
"That was on your side, Raikage, you got too reckless anyways. No one was injured on this side where Yume was" The Mizukage said
"Come to think of it, it was as if she's fighting to protect Sasuke. She didn't seem to want anyone of us getting hurt either" Chojuro stated. I was?
"If that's the case, then until your Hokage regains consciousness, we will consider you to be the Hokage." The Kazekage stated
"Alright" I said then took my leave
I quickly left and ran to Konoha using the shortest route there, but along the way, I realized something. It was how much pain I felt in my chest.
Back then, when Sasuke had just left the village, I was sad, really sad, but because of the things he said to me, I made it my goal to keep my emotions in check and to never let them show.
I worked hard on changing myself.
I completely stopped complaining, I stopped asking any questions except those which are nessecary, and I stopped being myself overall.
I asked to train under Tsunade and became her disciple, while I would train with her by day, I would torture myself by night. If it weren't for Neji and Sakura looking after me, I would've literally trained myself to death.
When I'd get hospitalized for injuring myself or almost using up all of my chakra, I'd end up sneaking out to train again as soon as I regain my consiousness.
In just a year, I had already become a jonin and had gained the entire village's respect. I rose up through the ranks like a monster, and was called a genius by many. However, I was no genius, I was nothing but a disgrace to the Uchiha.
The first time Itachi tried to do the fireball jutsu, he released a chunin level jutsu. The first time Sasuke tried to do it, he released a small flare. The first time I tried to do it, nothing happened.
No matter how much I tried and trained, nothing happened. I was constantly looked down on by not only the entire Uchiha clan, but by everyone at the academy too.
Only through gruesome training was I able to gain power enough to find my brothers, to gain everyone's respect, to help my climb my way towards the top.
It hurt.
It really did hurt.
Getting fatally wounded or losing too much blood was nothing compared to how I felt.
The pain was there, but nothing was bleeding. No medicine or jutsu worked, I was never able to relieve the pain.
I just..
Sasuke..
I wanted to be you.
"Go to Itachi and make him lecture you" Danzo shouted at Sasuke, and I was able to find them because of how noisy things were on their side. I ran up to them with a chidori ready in hand and quickly stabbed Danzo before he could act.
"Go to Itachi and prostate yourself before him!" I shouted then kicked him away from Sasuke who was struggling to stay on his feet, "I'm surprised you were still able to fight despite losing so much chakra"
"Don't underestimate me.." He scoffed and looked away as I deadpanned at him
"I'm not, that was a compliment" I sighed then placed my hand over his chest to heal him, however he slapped my hand away from him and approached the fallen Danzo
"This is a battle of eyes, don't mess with the Uchiha" Sasuke glared but ended up collapsing.
I approached Sasuke to drag him away from Danzo in case he tries to do something stupid, but I felt something crawl up my throat, and immediately fell to my knees. I hunched over and started coughing violently, and once I removed my hand from over my mouth, I saw the blood dripping down on the ground.
"Yume-!" Sasuke yelped, but before he could say anything else, Danzo's shoulder started rapidly forming a giant tree then Danzo detached his arm from it.
He removed the bandage around his right eye which is supposed to be Shisui-san's Sharingan that he stole. Sasuke made another chidori and charged at Danzo. Danzo fled and wrapped his arm around my neck
"You've used your visual prowess too much, didn't you?"
"Isn't it ironic that you, who gloried self-sacrifice, would take a hostage?" Sasuke said
"It's not that I consider my life precious, but for the sake of Konoha...for the sake of the shinobi world...I cannot afford to die here. No matter what means, I must survive! Your sister will be sacrificed for this cause!" Danzo said
"Sasuke...please...just kill this guy..." I managed to say out of my bloodstained mouth
"Don't move...Yume" Sasuke said. I let out a small smile knowing that it'll be okay
