Chapter 28- Unfortunately Disappointing

*Yume's POV*

"I'll become the Hokage" 

"What the hell?" I deadpanned at him as my eyes twitched, "Oi, what have you smoked before coming here?

"I'm giving you an insight of my plans for the future, Yume" He said then I facepalmed before tightening the grip I had on my face, I was about to actually rip my skin off.

"You can't come back all of a sudden and crack a lame joke like that, you rogue ninja!!"
"I don't know what happened to you, but that's not possible"
"Do you think we can just forget all the things you've done?"
"Have you hit your head on the way here?"

"Yeah, I realize that you probably can't. But it doesn't matter what you guys think of me. All of the previous Kage created these circumstances. So I will become Hokage and change this village" Sasuke stated blankly as he ignored my stares 

"Bro, that's lame." I stated as I sweatdropped and just made Sasuke turn to me with a confused look on his face.

"You managed to become the interm Hokage and the commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces somehow. I don't see why I can't be the Hokage" Sasuke stated which was like a chidori to my heart.

Naruto got up and stood next to Sasuke with a menacing smirk on his face.

"I'll be the Hokage!" 

"This doesn't make the situation any better" I yelled at him as a tick mark grew on my forehead

"Let's go, Sasuke" Naruto said then they both jumped to a rock in front of the barrier, but Sakura followed them and made a sight that I sure missed seeing. The good old Team 7 we knew.

"That sight sure brings back memories, doesn't it, Shikamaru?" Ino rather stated than asked then Shikamaru nodded before sighing and starting to scratch the back of his neck.

"Well, if he's willing to help us take down the enemy, I won't turn him away...even though I don't want to accept him..." 

"It's been a while since our class was last together. I haven't felt like this ever since the chunin exams" Chouji stated with a big smile on his face. 

I placed a hand on my hip before letting out a long sigh, I took a glance at the three and smiled before closing my eyes. 

"I'm going to become the Hokage! Hey! Are you guys listening?!" Kiba shouted in rage, but everyone was too focused on the nostalgic view in front of us to even pay attention to him.

"Kiba, no one's listening. It's pitiful" Shino muttered

"I-I was listening, Kiba-kun" Hinata said

"It's a good thing now that's he's on our side" Neji said as he gave me a closed-eye smile

The happy moment was ruined by the Juubi charging up another ball and blasting at the barrier the Hokages made. Unlucky for it, the barrier held up and the Juubi ended up hitting itself

"Everyone! Let's finish this once and for all!"

"YEAH!"

The first Hokage opened gates from all four sides of the barrier to let shinobi go in and attack the Juubi. He just added a nice gift and pinned down the Juubi's head down.

Everyone charged in and the next thing you know is that the damn Juubi made some clones or something to protect himself.

'Amaterasu will be enough' I thought to myself then set all of those things that were in my way on fire as Sakura literally annihilated every thing that came her way. Kiba jumped in with the three-headed wolf, slicing everything in half. Shino kept planting bugs into those things and the bugs would grow in size and- 

It was disgusting...

Hinata and Neji rolled everything coming their way with the sixty-four palms. Yeah next thing I know is my team abandoning me and attacking with formation E, the one that my existence isn't necessary for them to do

"I look embarrassing compared to those guys.." I mumbled sadly then weaved the signs for my jutsu, "Katon: Tachi noboru honō!" 

Flames emerged from the ground and burnt everything into bits. I smirked but my head lowered as soon as Ame landed on it.

"Yume-sama, what is it that you're doing?"

"Commiting manslaughter"

There was a moment of silence between the two of us before one of the big ones charged at me. I spun on my heel, turning to it, and slicing it in half with Susano'o, "I'm fighting for my and my subordinates' lives, Ame."

"Yume-sama, Sasuke-sama is about to strike and hit the Juubi" Ame said all of a sudden which made my eyes dart towards their direction. 

"GO SASUKE!" I shouted as Naruto's Rasenshuriken and Sasuke's inferno style mixed together and hit the Juubi. Its screams were so satisfying to hear and were like music to my ears

I smiled then got out Susano'o and sliced the figure that was coming for me from behind. Unfortunately, the Juubi detached the part of itself that was on fire before it could take any serious damage.

"Uchiha lass! Stop the jutsu of the one on top of the Juubi right now!" The first Hokage called out to me then I nodded and teleported next to Sasuke who happened to be in mid air. 

"Sasuke! You know what to do!" I shouted then he nodded as a smirk took over his face

"Yeah!" He replied then we both jumped down on the Juubi and charged at Obito. Sasuke had his Chidori ready in hand and I had my Amaterasu flames also ready. Unluckily, the Fourth Hokage beat us to him and slashed him, giving him a serious wound. Sasuke and I slowed down the pace and procceeded to walk towards the Fourth

"That was unfortunate"
"That was disappointing"

"All that's left is to seal the un-reborn Madara and this war will be over. As well as this giant thing" Sasuke said then I nodded and pulled out a scroll from my pouch

"What makes you think that the war is over, my fellow traitor?" Obito spoke up then the Juubi started to get sucked into Obito, leaving us no foothold. We jumped away from the Juubi but the air current pulled us in. Luckily, Naruto pulled us away using his Kurama form.

"He's changing forms again" I grunted in annoyance then Sasuke held me up before I lost my balance.

"No, that's not what's happening. He shook off Madara's manipulation and was weaving the signs to do this from the beginning!" Naruto said as my eyes widened

"So you're telling me that he's now the Juubi jinchuriki?!"
