Chapter 6

DANIELLE'S POV~

"Bye Daddy. Bye Aunt Artemis. I'll be back at the end of the summer. Come visit me if you want." I encouraged and hugged them. They nodded.

"The Hunters will be there for the battle. Olympus will be on lockdown. Better way to keep Kronos out. But you can call me if you need too. I will be at Camp Half-Blood to make an announcement durning dinner. See you there, my baby niece. " Aunt Artemis pointed out and kissed the top of my head. I agreed and took Hermes hand. He was going to take me to Camp. Saying goodbye one last time, Hermes and I disappeared and reappeared in Camp.

"Little sis! Always making an entrance!" I heard someone call out. I turned around. Will, my half-brother was leaning against the columns of the Big House. I had to check in with Chiron.

"Why wouldn't I? I am slightly dramatic. But, you know you love me!" I sang in my beautiful melodic voice. He laughed and opened his arms. Sprinting to him, I jumped into his arms and almost knocked him down.

"Yeah, you're lucky I do. You staying for the summer?" He asked. I nodded.

I heard a bark come from the arena. Sprinting there I jumped into the back of the hellhound and started scratching her head.

"Hi Mrs. O'Leary!" I said as she wagged her tail. Mrs. O'Leary is a hellhound, but a friendly one. She's considered Tyson and Percy's pet. Tyson is Percy's half-brother and he's a cyclops. A friendly one though. "Have you been a good girl?" She nodded her head and kinda smiled at me. I laughed and heard someone trying to sneak up on me.

Sidestepping the lunge the person tried, I spun them around and pinned them on the ground. He laughed.

"Miss me?" I asked innocently and smiled. The boy on the ground was none other than my crush, Nico di Angelo. He's tall, olive skin colored, and had black eyes and black hair that was pushed to one side.

"Of course I did!" He said blushing. "Wait, um... Did I say that out loud?" I laughed and smiled. Letting him up, I wrapped him in a big hug and rested my head on his chest. I came up to his chin and he rested his chin on my head.

We stayed there and then I felt his hand pulling my chin up. Looking into his eyes I realized that I was lost in them. My breath hitched and so did his.

"Hey! No PDA in the arena." I heard someone yell. Percy. I Looked at him and glared, he cringed.

"What the hell Percy." I said coldly and then I relaxed when Nico rubbed my hand up and down my arm. He was still holding me.

"I need to talk to you. Please." Percy asked. I sighed and looked at Nico.

"Can we meet in your cabin? I be there after I talk to Percy." I asked him.

"I'll hold you to that." He said and smiled. Turning to Percy he growled at him and walked out of the arena.

Percy walked to me. "What? You interrupted Nico and I's moment." I said coldly.

Perce took a deep breath and and took my hands. "Dani, I really like you. Like, like you. Will you go out with me?" He asked and I stopped breathing. Percy Jackson likes me, my best friend. I like Nico, and only Nico.

"I--I don't know. Percy, I like you but as a friend, I really like Nico. I'm sorry, but no." I answered and Percy looked angry.

"You like the son of the God of the dead. An unloving thing. I promise you one thing, I will never stop fighting for you. Never." He said coldly and tightened his hands around mine.

"Percy. Percy! My hands, you're hurting me! Let go!" I screamed and Mrs. O'Leary growled at him and Nico came running. He never left to go to his cabin, he waited for me.
