Im sitting in my room quietly reading a book when I hear our house phone ring. I spring up and go pick up the phone.
Y/n: hello?
???: Hello, is this Y/n Mendoza?
Y/n: depends on who's asking
???: I am Don Tibbles, with Hendricks hockey equipment, and we would like to inform you that you have been selected to be flown to Minneapolis, Minnesota and be part of team USA in the Junior Goodwill Games.
Y/n: Wait really?!?!?!
Mr. Tibbles: yes, you should have you plane ticket coming in the mail sometime today, we hope to see you there
*Hangs up*
Y/n: OMG! OMG!
I shout jumping in excitement and my mom comes running from her room
Mom: sweetie, what's wrong
Y/n: I just got a call from Hendricks hockey, and they want to fly me to Minnesota to join team USA in the Junior Goodwill games!!!!!
Mom: omg!!! What are you waiting for, get packing
Just as I was about to start packing my things the phone rings again, so I turn back around and pick it up
Y/n: hello?
??: Y/n?
Y/n: Luis?! What's up
Luis: I just got this call from this guy saying there going to fly me to Minnesota for team USA!!!!
Y/n: omg.
Luis: what? What's wrong?
Y/n: Luis. I got selected too, were both going to be on team USA!!!!!!!
Luis: omg, ok, well we need to pack, I'll see you in Minnesota!
Y/n: ok talk to you later Luis
*Hangs up*
I got off and immediately started to pack, for Minnesota.
