I smile at him as he lifts me off the ice, I get up but almost fall again so Dwayne catches me with both of his arms underneath mine and pulled me up next to him. We just look at eachother for a while.
Dwayne: you know ma'am, you have very pretty eyes
Y/n: why thank you cowboy
Dwayne: no problem darlin
As he said that my face got hot and I blushed and smiled. We all went into the lockeroom. And I started grab my clothes. I got changed into my red wings jersey a pair of ripped jeans and my black converse.

Dwayne: I was wondering if maybe, well, if you would like to get something to eat with me for dinner.
Y/n: like a date?
Dwayne: well umm yeah
Y/n: cool it's a date, I'll meet you at the dorms
I smiled huge and walked away, Dwayne is so kind and respectful. Who wouldn't fall for that dopey smile of his. I head back to the dorms and a few hours late Dwayne picked me up.
Dwayne: so where do you wanna go?
Y/n: doesn't matter to me
Dwayne: there's this diner down the road, we could go there
Y/n: sound s good to me
