"movie night tonight? i got snacks for us and we could watch a new action movie!"

"sorry my forever, the rink called. you know how it is, when duty calls right?," he worriedly laughed. "i'm so sorry, i promise i'll make it up to you maybe next week?"

hana held the snacks in her hand, placing them on the counter, disappointed.

"yeah that's totally fine, i understand! when duty calls!" a fake smile plastered her face. sunghoon wanted to do everything in his body to wipe it off and replace it with a real smile, but he knew he didn't have the time. "don't worry, next week works. have fun my always!"

he intertwined their fingers and squeezed her hand, before letting go and heading to his car to go to the rink.

the next saturday, hana got called in for a full day shoot. she wasn't going to be until late late in the night.

sunghoon waited for her to come home, but knew he couldn't stay up too late because of practice early the next day. hana came home to a sleeping sunghoon and yet another missed movie night.

they were always so busy at different times, so they just stopped.

no more movie nights and rarely any dinner nights.
