After Pooja they all started talking every now and then, she was adjusting her duppatta which kept sliding down her left shoulder. Both of them were just looking at each other. Sai trying to understand what just happened. She was getting anxious thinking if Samrat wouldn't have called, what would have happened. "May be! I got infected by his madness. That's why I'm behaving so out of my character," She thought

"This man had something wrong in his eyes so no matter what happen Just don't look into his eyes" she firmly decided though still looking at him

Our other minus was so lost in looking at her that he wasn't even thinking about anything else. Probably at that moment 'staring at her' was his 'greatest good'. Unknowingly he was wishing everybody in that house would vanish for a couple of hours, so that he could keep staring at her that way. On Samrat's insistence, she picked up a few cashews from the dry-fruits bowl. At times, she looked at him and noticed how he was looking at her with everyone around and she silently begged him to take his eyes off her. But men will always be men. To break the spell, she started talking to him.

"Virat can you please pass on the water to me?" She said which made him to take off his eyes for some time.

They got busy with their meal and the conversation reduced and narrowed down to the appreciation of the lunch and the people who had prepared it-  The three Gentlemen of the house, again started the credit giving ceremony among themselves. They were all packed with delicious food. Conversation resumed at the sofa and chairs again. This time it involved humor-good jokes, poor jokes, and jokes which were not jokes at all. And, at times, she noticed a different smile. A smile which was not on his lips, but in his eyes. 

Finally at 12 Samrat and Mohit got up to leave. Virat and Sai went outside to say final goodbye to them. The moment they stepped out of the house Sai ran to her house without even looking at Virat.

Next day she got up early so that she didn't have to face him. In the meeting she tried her best not to look at him. But soon after that, for some work Virat knocked in her cabin. 

"Yes Virat" She quickly covered her face with the file 

"I got a call from Foreign Ministry they want details of Indians living in Japan. I have got the list from admin department. You just have to sign. then this........" He carried on

"I will do everything! bss you leave" She nervously said.

"Why you are hiding your face behind that file" He asked

"Hiding? who is hiding! I am reading it!" She said

"What are you reading on a closed file" He inquired

"I'm...  just.... deciding which page to read first" she stammered "You go! Go back to your work" He confusingly left.

"Keep it down! I brought lunch!" he instructed

"Lunch!!" she repeated

"Leave it here I will have it after sometime" she tried her best

"It's almost lunch time! let's just eat"
he said and opened the box to pass it to her.

She waved her hand in air to hold the box

"Sai what are you trying to do?" he asked

"Nothing! Eating see" she started stuffing Sandwiches in her mouth as fast as she can while the file was still in her hand.

"Keep that file down and eat properly"
he tried to take file from her hand

"No! It's urgent I have to send mail regarding this so I can't" she tried to make an excuse
