I still can't believe it's been 30 whole years since my favorite game series of all time was born. June 23, 2021, 30 years since it all began...I guess time flies as fast as Sonic can run. Here's to 30 more years...

Sonic gets inside the base with Eggman, who was waiting for Sonic in his Egg Viper, a machine in which he claims to be almost completely indestructible.
Eggman: "If it isn't the blue menace...I'm impressed that you were able to survive long enough to see my new creation! You have a choice to make: face me and most likely die, or hand over that last Chaos Emerald!"
Sonic: "That's the thing; we're both at a disadvantage here. Neither of us know where it's at."
After defeating Dr. Eggman, Sonic reunites with Tails and they run off together to take another break.
