It's Tuesday afternoon. Chaeyoung was carrying two travel laundry bags which full of her dirty clothes to the laundromat near. This is the fourth times she visited the place.
Actually her dorm building at college had a laundromat that was open 24 hours. And it was free to students. But it always packed to the brim. Students likely frequent the laundromat, and their schedules can vary dramatically. They may stop in throughout the week, between classes and activities. Often she had to wait until about 2 am to do hers when she knew not many people would be down.
That's why she choose the public one than the one in her dorm. Chaeyoung know that public laundromats doesn't make any difference. But at least she know what times and days of the week to avoid which is on weekends. That was the busiest and the most crowded. Well, since most people work Monday to Friday, they save their visits to the laundromat for Saturday or Sunday. She's been told by the owner that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the slowest days of the week at the laundromat. And the plus point is, the place more hygiene than the laundromat at her dorm building.

Just as she expected, when she walked in, the place is empty. There was only one other person. A middle age woman was folding her clothes, presumably finished with her laundry. She had a basket beside her that Chaeyoung assumed was already clean too. The woman looked up and give her a little smile with a nodded. Chaeyoung smile back, greeted a 'hello' before walking closer to one of the washing machine.
Chaeyoung start loaded up her clothes in the washer and fill the detergent. She insert a coins into the machine and choose the cycle, then the machine start the wash. When she turned around to sit, the lady was ready to go. She left after saying bye to her.
Chaeyoung was sitting alone, waiting for her laundry to finish it's wash cycle. She mindlessly gaze into the dryer across from her, hypnotized by the clothes tossing and turning, round and round in infinite circles. She follow the path of their orbit, sure of where they will end up at every moment. Her eyes still follow the movement when a text message pop up on her phone.
'Chaeng, I'm at your door. Why won't you open the door for me?'
Lisa
It was Lalisa, a transfer student from Thailand. They are living at the same building. She live at the first floor meanwhile Chaeyoung at the third floor.
'I'm not home right now Lis. I'm at the loundromat outside' she reply her.
'Why would you go there when we have one in our building? And it's free'
Lisa
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, 'You know why. I've already told you, many times'
'Oh right! 😜. Text me when you done 'kay!'
Lisa
Chaeyoung just smile and shook her head. Lisa was just move in for four months ago and yet they already close like a bestie... A chiming at the door make Chaeyoung looked up from her phone.
There, a male about her aged stepped inside. Tall and good looking. That was her first impression of him. He was wearing beige t-shirt pair with a ripped jeans, show how well built his body. He has a sharp jawline and beautiful doe eyes... And those eyes was staring back at her. She gasped.
