Okumura scowls, he still hasn't gotten used to Sawamura's rowdiness, to be completely honest Okumura still wasn't used to a lot of things in the baseball team; he had to room with two other guys—one of them somehow always getting under his skin, he had to eat that much food without puking and the training regime, he didn't know the level of difficulty would reach that high
"Oh shoot sorry—oh hey you're the guy who answered back to Sawamura-senpai!" You halt from running and turn to him
"I'm (Last name)." You introduce yourself and hold out a hand
Okumura remains silent for a minute before shaking your outstretched hand, "I'm Okumura."
"Wanna head to the field together? I'm going there anyways." You suggest and Okumura agrees, figuring that there's really nothing wrong with a bit of socializing, besides, there was something in his gut that told him you were a good person
"It's brutal out here, isn't it?" You ask lightheartedly, starting a conversation with him, "I'm not even playing on the field but I could see how high the standards are in this team." You chuckle
"It is a national-level school that focuses on baseball." Okumura nods, "It's to be expected that the system here is difficult."
"Yeah, But you have to admit that sometimes it gets tiring...I mean you did get heated up with a senior just a few days ago." You chuckle when you see him scowl
"Which isn't much wrong...we are first years and well, we still have to get used to the whole thing." You add
"Yeah," He mumbles, spotting Seto who was waiting for him along with Asada
"Oh we're here, I'll talk to you later then, Okumura!" You bid him goodbye before running towards the other first-year managers who were all waiting for you
'Well at least someone gets it.' Okumura thinks, figuring that he was going to see more of you in his three years in Seido
