After Mobius left me on Asgard, I spent what feels like hours with Sif, who is getting revenge on me for cutting her hair. A trick and a memory I hadn't thought about in hundreds of years. I had just managed to get her to stop her abuse on me by apologizing profusely and admiting to her that I would indeed be alone forever. But now, given the events on Lamentis, I think I'm actually starting to believe this to be true. As I'm contemplating my future, Mobius steps out into the door way, with Kamaria close behind. She still had her collar on, but it quiet, "okay, Loki. You ready to talk?" I take a deep breath and look down, signifying my consent to talk to at least Mobius.

When we get back to the TVA we are in the same room we had been in before Mobius had thrown us in to our Time Cells. There is a table in the middle of the room with two chairs, much like there had been when Kamaria and Mobius talked to me for the first time. As we walk in Mobius gestures for Kamaria to go sit on the steps close by, probably because he wants to keep her and I as far away from each other as possible, since he still believes either Sylvie or I have enchanted me. I walk up to the table with a scoff, "fancy technology. Threatening interrogation tactics." I pull out my chair rather roughly, before sitting down, "seems you and I are in a loop of our own."

Mobius picks up a pen and prepares to write, "well, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then."

"Certainly has."

"Okay, you said the TVA is lying to me. Both of you did, so, go ahead. Or is that just a cockroach's survival mechanism kicking in and flowing through to your mind slave?"

"Let me out of this place, stop beating me up, let Kamaria go, and I'll tell you."

"Cockroach, got it." Mobius takes a deep breath, "how long have you been working for the Variant and how long have you been controlling my partner?"

"Me?" I look up, a bit insulted, "working for her? Please."

"Okay, so if you're not working for the Variant, what is it? You're partners?"

"Absolutely not. Not partners, no."

"Yeah, I guess you don't do partners, do you," Mobius writes some of this down. "Unless, of course, it benefits you, and you intend to betray them at some point. Which brings me back to one of my original questions, how did you rope her into all this?" Mobius gestures back to Kamaria.

"I didn't."

"No, because you enchanted her, right?"

"No, of course not, I'd never do that."

"No? Because I seem to remember you stabbing me in that back, what makes her any different?"

"She's different and irritating, and she tries to hit me all the time. But it was a means to an end, Mobius. Welcome to the real world. Down there, we're awful to one another to get what we want."

"Now I gotta have a prince tell me how the real world works? Why don't you just tell me what caused the nexus event on Lamentis?"

"Let me say this again. I'm not going to tell you just so you can turn around immediately afterwards and prune me. If Kamaria is smart, which she is, she isn't going to tell you anything either."

"I guess we've reached a dead end then."

"Okay, it's over."

"I'm gonna miss these little tete-a-tetes."

"Me too."

"One guy playing checkers, you, old Mobius playing chess, but yeah, give my regards to Lady Sif," Mobius starts to reopen my Time Cell.
