is this gonna work?

the next morning i woke up i looked at jaden.
he looked like an angel sleeping.
but there's one thing i can't stop thinking about. what if jaden and i never work out? what if he never asks me out? then i would be so upset to lose him... then i got interrupted

jaden: liv? you okay?
you: what? yeah! why?
jaden: you looked kinda upset
you: yeah i was thinking...
jaden: about what?
you: what if we never work out..? or you never ask me out?

jadens facial expression softens even more

jaden: everything's gonna be okay liv- and when the times right, i will ask you out
you: you will?
jaden: i promise i will

i smiled at him and he smiled back

jaden: i love ur smile
you: i hate yours

jaden looks offended

jaden: what?!
you: i was kidding!
jaden: sure you were
you: i was kidding jaden
jaden: whatever

jaden got up and walked away.
i can't believe he's pissed over a joke.
i have to remember that he gets mad easily...

i get up and walk downstairs

griffin: goodmorning sis
you: goodmorningggg!
ant: goodmorning bestie
you: goodmorning!

i sat at the kitchen counter start thinking

what if jaden and i get serious one day and get married...

and he always gets mad and hits me

that would suck...

bryce: watcha thinkin bout?
you: nothin
bryce: you sure about that?
you: yeah
bryce: come on let's go talk

i roll my eyes and sit up

bryce and i walk to a different room... their workout room

bryce: so what's wrong?
you: well so i was thinking, what if jaden and i get serious?
bryce: what would be wrong with that?

i sigh

you: and we might get married...
bryce: okay?
you: then he might you know... abuse me
bryce: oh... about that. maybe you should talk to him about that
you: i will

i hugged bryce and walked away

i found jaden on the couch looking at his phone

you: hey jay
jaden: hi... i'm sorry for getting mad at you
you: it's okay... but can we talk?

jaden: sure
