i take a deep breath and look jaden in the eye.
if we're  gonna work, then we need to be able to talk.

jaden: so what's up?
you: i was thinking today.. after you got mad at me
jaden: yeah i'm really sorry about that
you: i know

i gave him a nervous smile

i sigh then start speaking.

you: so after you got mad at me.. i thought about us in the future. what if we get serious..

jaden looks at me

jaden: what about that?
you: and you might get mad at me a lot... and maybe you might be abusive
jaden: oh shit...

i look him in the eyes to try to see what he's thinking

jaden: i didn't know you felt that way
you: don't be mad at me jaden
jaden: i'm not mad. i'm just thinking

oh shit. he's thinking- thats kinda scary.

jaden: okay listen. i understand where your coming from... but if you just trust me, and believe in me.. i won't fail you.

i smiled at him

you: i'm glad i told you how i feel
jaden: i'm glad you did too

BANG

what the fuck was that? i looked over at where the bang came from. i see bryce laying on the floor.

you: what the fuck happened?
bryce: i fell
you: uh where?
bryce: in this room
you: since when we're you in here?
bryce: since like

he pauses to look at his phone

bryce: 15 minutes

he says with a dumb smile on his face

you: that's how long jaden and i were talking
bryce: exactly

i look at jaden who's sitting quietly with a confused and weirded out face

jaden speaks up

jaden: you were in here the whole damn time?

jaden says with annoyance in his voice

bryce: yeah... why are you so surprised?

i roll my eyes

you: i'm not even surprised anymore. it's fucking bryce.
jaden: just get the fuck out please
bryce: okay glad it went well. toodles

bryce blows kisses and leaves

jaden: what the actual fuck is wrong with him?
you: i have no idea...
