I was  in my room trying to figure who Nile was talking about ugh that stupid snake could've told me who he was fucking talking about I thought until I heard a knock on the door

"Come in," I said looking at the door of my room

"Hey y/n what are you doing"

"oh hey Anna nothing just you know thinking," I said leaning back into my chair

"Did you see them they're all so fucking hot"

"Who the riddles," I said

"Yes who else would I be talking about," she said

"Yeah, yeah you know I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Mattheo dated Sophia you know," I said

"same I knew she was dating some boy at the dark academy but I never knew it was Mattheo," she said

"Yeah," I said while turning back to my desk

"That reminds me Come downstairs for dinner," Anna said

"Uggh I don't fucking feel like eating with everyone," I said

"It's not like you have a choice y/n you know how that woman gets when someone doesn't listen to her stupid rules," she said as I sighed In defeat

"Fine let's get this stupid dinner over with," I said getting up I still wasn't able to what Nile said out of my head who's trying to get me, I walked downstairs and saw everyone sitting on the table I then walked over to my chair and took a seat

"Finally you decided to show up," my mother said

"Amanda stop it we have guests" my father whispered to my mother to which she rolled her eyes I fuking hate this woman, to be honest sometimes I think she isn't my real mother because she acts

"anyways why don't you all start eating," my father said and we all began eating, it was calm at first until my mother asked a question that caught me off guard

"So y/n who are you dating again," she asked I was confused for a second until I realized that I had told her I was dating someone so that she wouldn't set me up with some pureblood boy

"Oh umm yeah I ah do have boyfriend," I said everyone looked surprised probably because they thought I would never date anyone, Tom raised a brow and Alex looked over at me

"oh really who is he then," Sophia asked narrowing her eyes at me, fuck their gonna know that I was lying

"Come on y/n tell us," my mother said

"Oh yeah my boyfrien- I got cut off suddenly

"She's dating me, I'm her boyfriend Mrs. Slytherin" Mattheo suddenly said I looked over at him with a glare he just smirked

"oh yeah Mattheos my boyfriend," I said in an unsure tone my mother raised her brows

"Well then I must say for the first time you chose a good looking man," my mother said

"You both look like a lovely couple," my father said as he continued to eat what the fuck have I gotten myself into I thought

"Umm I have to use the bathroom," I said getting up I gave Mattheo a look telling him to follow me

"I'll be back as well," he said excusing himself and they nodded

Mattheo pov

I walked down the hall to where y/n was standing her arms were crossed and she looked annoyed, which only made me smirk even more

"What the fuck was that," she said yelling at me

"What are you talking about," I said with a smile only annoying her

"Why the hell did you tell them that I was fucking dating you," she said

"Actually you should thank me," I said

"and why is that," she said

"well if it wasn't for me your parents would've found out that you lied," I said

"Yeah but now everyone thinks we're dating," she said I scoffed

"So why does that matter," I said

"because I fucking hate you," she said

"oh really then why did kiss me back that day," I said

"I-I um" she stammered

"exactly you don't," I said looking at her

"whatever, and what am I supposed to do now," she said looking the other way, to which I rolled my eyes

"Just play along," I said

" by that, you mean fake date you," she said

"right," I said

"oh and why are you doing this," she asked

"we'll leave that as a mystery I said

y/n pov

I bit my lip thinking whether or not I should trust him, who knows maybe he's trying to trick me or something, but it worth the risk

"alright riddle deal, I don't know why you're doing this but it better not be one of your stupid plans," I said sticking my hand out

"Alright," he said with an odd smirk and shook my hand

as we were walking back to the table Mattheo suddenly put his arm around me "what the hell are you doing" I whispered not moving his arm off

"if we're gonna fake date you have to act like it," he said in an amused tone he knew how much this going to bother me and he was enjoying it

"Why did I agree" I mumbled to myself

"be papered y/n he is gonna be a long winter break" for some reason the way he said made me get chills I was gonna question him but we were already near the table.
