Chapter 26

Lilly's POV

'If you guys aren't making out then maybe you could help me set the table. ' i shouted. I couldn't help but tease jake but all jokes aside they were pretty good together, i smirked at that thought, when i heard footsteps , i turned around and saw jake coming towards the counter, pouring himself some coffee and taking a sip.

'How was the kiss?' I asked seriously, leaning on the counter,trying not to let my laugh out. He looked at me raising an eyebrow, confused at what i just said. 'Or was it more than that?' I teased, his eyes widened realising  what i meant. He choked on his coffee and coughed a couple of times while i couldn't help but laugh.

'We did no such thing.' He confirmed smirking. I nodded and turned to put some bread in the toaster. 'You need to stop doing that...' he added sighing.

'Okay, But i do have a question...'

'Okay?'

'Do you need help with your wedding plans?' I teased, he puts hand on his head and looks at me, anyone can clearly see him holding back his laughter.

'Lilly....'

'I was messing with you, what did alex say?' I asked changing the topic. He took a sip and answered.

'Iris wants to meet with M/C, today at 3.'  That doesn't sound good, why would she want to meet her?

'Where?' I asked taking the bread out and spreading some butter on it.

'Rainbow cafè.'

(Time break)

'Okay then, you guys are staying here till tomorrow. ' i demanded, she wanted to say something about that but that's when the bell rang. I got up and went to open the door. This is the first time it had a good timing. I opened the door but there wasn't anyone there. Weird.... i took a few step out and looked around but i didn't see anyone. I turned around to go back inside when something hit my head and i blacked out.

Jake's POV

It's been a few minutes since lilly went to open the door.... it gave me a really bad feeling.

'What's taking her so long?' M/C questioned getting up from the couch.  I guess she was thinking the same thing. 'Come on.' She added walking towards the door.

'Where are you going?'

'To see what she's doing and two is always better than one.'

M/C's POV

We both slowly made our way to the door which was wide open, i stepped forward a little when jake suddenly held my wrist, i turned to him in confusion and he put his index finger on his lips. I kept quiet and stood still, what was he doing? Then i heard noises, talking noises.

'Yes- i got - no, that was not- deal- shit, shit, shit. Fine- I'll get them.' The voice said,my eyes widen and i froze. Even though i heard only the bits and peices of the conversation, it definitely didn't sound good. My thoughts were interrupted by footsteps, they were getting closer and closer. I looked at jake who had the same expression as me, fright. Any idea of what to do in the situation, i had none. Mainly because the door was wide open and we had to make zero percent noise, so whoever that is doesn't notice us.... great.....

Jake gestured me to follow him, i nodded but he didn't see it, he turned around slowly and pointed towards the living room. We hastened out of the porch and went into the room and hid behind the couch just as we heard the door close.

'Wherever you're hiding jake, you better come out and if you don't that blonde girl of yours will be dead in seconds....' the man said coming into the room. My eyes were literally popping out, lilly ..... they got her.... i felt weird and scared.... i looked at jake, his expression hadn't changed a bit. The man went into Lilly's room, i heard some sounds of things being thrown on the floor.

'Got any ideas how to get out of here?' I whispered in the lowest voice. He shook his head, now.... I'm getting scared.

'We need to get out of here, he's going check all of the rooms.....' he said looking around the room. Think, think, think...... my eyes went to the window across the room..... the garden. Of course, if that man wanted jake ... I'll give him an unexpected suprise. I nudged him and he looked at me with  questioning look. I pointed towards it and he shook his head. 'That's across the room, if we get caught that's it, Jasper is not going to leave us.'

'Who's jasper?' I asked with confusion, he flinched.

'No one, now.... your idea. Let's go.' Weird..... but whatever i can ask him later. Right now.... my plan better work. Both of us tiptoed across the room, making the least noise as possible, we both made it to the window. Jake opened it and moved aside so i could go first but i shook my head, my plan would definitely fail if i went first.

'You go first.' He frowned but nodded hesitantly. As soon as he was out, i quickly closed the window, locked it and put the curtains down. I turned around and great.... my plan didn't even start and it failed already.

'Well, well, well.... who do we have here?' The man said.
