Chapter 24

** Katrina's P.O.V **

I begin to wake up, once I fully wake up i realize I was holding someone. I looked down

"Janet?" I mumbled as I removed one arm and gripped my head

I started to remeber, this wasn't Janet, it was Marie. I instantly pulled away, disgusted in myself. 'What did we do last night?' I wondered to myself as memories began to flood my mind

I had agreed to go to a bar with Marie, we had a drinking contest and she... won? Then I.. kissed her?!

I jumped out of the bed and checked the time, it was 10:47 p.m.

"I have to get back to the hospital!" I said out loud as I grabbed my car keys and rushed out of the house, leaving Marie asleep in the bed

I climbed into my jeep and started driving to the hospital

"How could I let myself get so drunk that I would actually kiss that bitch?!" I yelled as I drove speedily to the hospital

Once I arrived I climbed out of my jeep and rushed inside, Carol was waiting for me with the kids

"Where have you been?" Asks Carol

"Long story" I reply

"Well let's hear it" Carol tells me

I made sure the kids couldn't hear me as I began to explain my lateness to Carol

"I went to a bar with Marie and I got really drunk and I kissed her then I drove Marie to my house and passed out on the bed with her!" I told Carol

"Katrina I'm very disappointed in you, what would Janet think if she knew that?" Carol asks

"I really hope she couldn't hear that" I tell Carol

"Oh I'm pretty sure anyone could hear that" Carol told me as she pointed down towards Riley who was staring at me

"You kissed Auntie Marie?!" Riley asked, she looked mad

"I was drunk!" I tried to defend myself

"Why would you even meet her?!" Riley asked

"She wanted to!" I replied

"Just because she wanted to didn't mean you should of!" Riley exclaimed as she turned away from me

I looked up at Carol, she just looked at me with a mix of mad and disappointed in her expression.

'Why did I let myself do this? I should have known Marie was trouble.' I thought to myself

Not only was Janet in a coma, Riley was now mad at me and Carol was disappointed. Did I loose everyone with one decision?

"Katrina I tried to warn you about this" Carol told me

"I know I know I should have listened" I reply

Carol sighed

"But I'm still going to help you wake up Janet but good luck explaining this to her" Carol tells me

"How do you know she can even hear what's going on?" I ask

"I did some research on comas this morning when I told you about the doctor you needed remeber?" Carol reminded me

"Oh yeah, forgot about that" I reply

"Look just take the kids back home, fix you all some food and get some rest, we'll meet at the hospital tomorrow okay?" Carol tells me

"Alright, thanks Carol" I thank Carol as I take the kids out to the jeep

"What do you kids want for dinner?" I ask
