DETENTION
[2×07]

THE PLAN TO TELL STILES' FATHER THE TRUTH WENT DOWNHILL BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN. Him and Scott had went to the police station to tell him, only to find Jackson already there with his lawyer father. He had decided to file a restraining order against the two of them. Ayla was honestly just surprised to hear that she had been left out, but she assumed that was just Jackson having a desire to keep breathing.

Allison went home to find Lydia waiting for her. The strawberry blonde apparently understood archaic latin, and ended up translating the bestiary for the Argent. Allison had then called both Scott and Ayla and the three were not talking over the phone, along with Stiles.

"If Jackson doesn't know what he's doing, then he probably doesn't know that someone's controlling him," Allison was saying.

"Or he doesn't remember. I used to black out some of my full moons when I was younger," Ayla told her.

"Like what happened with Lydia when she took off from the hospital? A fugue state?" Stiles guessed.

"He'd have to forget everything. The murder," Scott said.

"Getting rid of the blood," Allison added.

"But he had help with one thing though, the video. Maybe someone else helped him forget that," Stiles told them.

"Whoever's controlling him," Ayla realized.

"Are you sure Jackson has no clue about any of this?" Allison asked.

"He thinks he's still becoming a werewolf and that being with Lydia somehow delayed everything," Stiles told him.

"He basically believes he has a supernatural STD that keeps him from turning," Ayla paraphrased.

"That... that's one way to put it," Stiles said.

The she-wolf rolled her eyes, becoming more serious. "He's in denial. No one wants to believe they're a monster. It took until I tried to rip someone apart for me to admit to myself that I was turning. It's even worse for Jackson," she told them.

"So do we try to convince him he's wrong?" Allison asked.

"If it helps us find out who's controlling him, then yeah," Scott said.

"Do you think he'll talk to us after what we did?" Allison wondered.

"Yeah, it's us. He'll talk to us. Right?" Stiles asked.

Ayla scoffed. "Probably not," she told him.

The four teenagers met in the library the next day to talk about everything. Of course, Allison wasn't supposed to be seen with them. That left Ayla and both the boys standing on one side of the bookshelf and Allison standing on the other side, talking to the three of them through it. She slid the tablet through the shelf to Scott. Both Stiles and Ayla looked over his shoulder at it.

"It's everything Lydia can translate. And trust me, she was very confused," Allison told them.

"Yeah, what'd you tell her?" Scott asked.

"That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Allison admitted.

Ayla sighed. "Please tell me you left me out of this. It may be believable for these dorks, but no. Just no," she muttered. That made Allison chuckle, but Stiles turned to glare at the Hale. Scott just rolled his eyes at the two of them and looked back down at the tablet.
