narrator : it's been 5 years since our little main character y/n left the village to train harder than ever with her mentor yukiko. a lot can change in 2 years , hell a lot can change in a few months. after the chunin exams nothing in team 7 has been the same, mainly due to a certain member ( sasuke ) being the emo fucker he is left to stake his claim on vengeance for his elder brother. it was that incident that made not just y/n and naruto but all of team 7 to swear to be better , to be stronger and bring back sasuke.
right now our little y/n is on her way back home, in fact she's just made it back. i'll let her take over now .
Y/n pov :
"fucking finally " i sigh, i'm fucking exhausted , i haven't seen the village in like 2 years.... i wonder how everyone's changed.
" feels great to be back doesn't it..." yukiko-sensei says with a more satisfied sigh
" we just have to stop by lady hokages office to drop by some reports before we get you settled in " yukiko says with a small smile as we walk through the village .
" yeah yeah, i just wanna go home and take a nap " i pout
i also wanna see my friends again but i'd much rather sleep first if we're being completely honest but it's whatever i guess .
hokages office :
*knock knock*
" come in " i recongnize that voice it's Lady tsunade . a small smile takes on my face without me even knowing
" we just made it back Milady , here with some reports " yukiko says with the smallest bow as we walk in
" of course i'll take those for you , welcome back " shizune says gracefully snatching the documents from yukiko sensei.
" well what do we have here , looks like a little Team 7 reunion " lady tsunade says as we enter her office
" what do you mea- " i start to say confused to as of why she would say that
" OH MY GOD Y/N !!! IT'S Y/N !! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE WHO I HAVENT SEEN IN 2 YEARS !!! oh how i missed the one i adore the GIRL OF MY DREAMS IM IN COMPLETE LOVE!! ITS MORE THAN LOVE IM INFATUATED!!!" a familiar voice yells before i can even look up to see who it is
"OH MY FUCK ITS NARUTO!!! AND SAKURA!!! i say stunned. i don't know what i expected but it wasn't my old teammates.
" i didn't even know naruto knew the word love , none the less infatuation... holy shit naruto have you been STUDYING?!! " i add on just realizing it was him basically confessing his love for me as soon as i walked in.
" cmon y/n , naruto studying.... there's no way " sakura scoffs jokingly
" your so right sakura , i can't believe i said that there's no way he would EVER "
" are you kidding me , i mean yeah sure your right i haven't beeen studying but it's not like i would NEVER study . i've just been busy training , SEE LOOK AT MY GAINS!! LOOK AT THE GAINS Y/N " naruto exclaims at me while flexing his arms that i can't really see
" ehm ehm " lady tsunade clears her throat to catch our attention
" sorry milady we got a little distracted" Sakura and i immediately bow our heads.
" naruto you dumb ass can you bow and apologize " sakura whispers from her bow
" literally naruto your making us look stupid "
" SORRY GRANNY TSUNADE " naruto exclaims finally taking his bow
" it's fine i understand, anyways the whole point of having you all here is there's someone you all must fight " lady tsunade explains that we have a very important task to handle , a chance to prove we haven't been training all this time for nothing
" well who is it ? i can take on anybody now " naruto yells excitedly
" fuck , i knew i should've taken a nap first " i whisper to myself defeatedly. i'm so tired i might just let them kill me
*knock knock *
" come in " lady tsunade says
